In this new video we are guests at one of the biggest Koi harvest of the season. Make yourself comfortable because for the next 40 minutes you can enjoy Jumbo koi from the Champion Mud Pond from the NND Koi Farm in Japan.

First of all I would like to congratulate the NND Koi Farm with being grand champion at the Nagaoka Koi Show 2021. With a great 7 year old 87cm Marusho Sanke she turned out to be the best of the show.
Today we are guests at the NND Koi Farm's largest mud pound, the Champions Mud Pond. For the next half hour you can enjoy the entire harvest including the best fish which are presented one by one at the end of this video.

Another lovely video, peaceful to watch. Can never tire of watching them. It would be so hard to pick out a koi from that harvest although I do love the Tancho. Also love the ginrin Showa. The colours look like they have been digitally painted on 🙏🏻💖

Depends on where you live. But you can try all season koi foods.

WOW! I have questions...
- How long (how many years) are the young Koi in the Muck Pond before they are harvested?
- What do you feed them and how often are they fed?
- I have two Koi ponds on my One Acre Suburban property, 8000 gallons and 2000 gallons, along with streams and waterfalls. I have purchased most of my Koi from Kodama and other reputable CONUS outlets. My oldest are now around 11 years old and very large, but not nearly as large as yours. I plan to sell my property and buy acreage in north east Georgia (U.S.) with a large existing pond, or I will build a pond in which I can move my Koi pets. Should I also have a Muck Pond? I do not intend to breed and I would like to SEE my koi. Are Muck Ponds good for koi maybe so many days out of the year? I apologize for my ignorance, all I want is happy Koi for LIFE!

Yesterday I was browsing in a pet store. They were selling koi food that 'helps develop colour' is this legit? What are supplements I can give extra in the winter or summer months for koi?
There are many types of koi food available and many different brands to choose from. If you have higher end koi or koi you bought that is higher potential, I would stick to higher end food such as Saki Hikari, Odakan and JPD just to name a few. If you have lower end koi, then any koi food will do. Across those 3 brands I mentioned, there are different types of feed for your needs such as color food, growth and health. If you are asking this question I would say mix 33% for all those 3 types of food or maybe even growth 60% and 40% color food. There are many combinations to go with but the thing to remember is, if you koi is of higher value go with higher end and reputable feeds.
