Félicitations, c est toujours dantesque à voir ! Ps: on s est croisé au dernier Stunfest 2019, encore merci pour tes avis et conseils sur les shmups en général
In terms of videos, well. There's a 660m Type A by NAI that was published a while back (Gamest VHS, uploaded nowhere), along with a 630m C-S by NAI (on katsuo504's channel), 603m Type A by LAOS (signs off as KO in the video, on my channel), a 712m self-published C-S video by NAI (self-published on VHS, uploaded nowhere), and a 477m Type B video by LAOS (Gamest VHS, on Toarcade's channel). Besides that there's Prom's 547m video, Erppos clear, and a few others.
That chains in Stage 6 loop 1 is beyond impressive. He got more hits than he did in stage 5. Regular players have difficulties maintaining combos in stage 6 loop 1.
Requirements to reach the 2nd round and the EX bosses Hachi and Hibachi: Loses at most 2 fighters (lives). Depending on the fighter used, have a maximum hit count of at least the following: Type A: 270 hits Type B: 300 hits Type C: 330 hits Score at least 50 million points at the end of area 6. Collect all 13 bees in four of the six areas. -JulianSeph 842 Gamez
@@pipesin_hdYou don't have to do all of them though. Just don't die 3 times Also, Julian Seph posts nonsense. I'd double check everything he posts just in case. Or even better, pretend he doesn't exist.
Would this game be an example of skillgate? It’s like “you have to be this good to enter” or something like that. I call it that because the second loop isn’t that easy to enter and a better ending is locked behind it. But Double Dragon 2, the godawful remake mind you has an insane requirement to get the best ending which makes getting to some CAVE games’ second loops easy by comparison. I was thinking to myself CAVE was giving casual players the middle finger and telling them “Git gud my friend or no second loop for you!”.
dodonpachi is fairly as far as CAVE games go, low entry level. You simply don't need to dodge anything to beat Loop 1 you know, game gives you like 30 bombs
My right ear enjoyed listening to this video a lot...
14:05 1st loop hall of hell
35:59 2nd loop hall of hell
At 14:05 i lost countless lives in that dreadful hall 😭
Thanks a lot @Sapphire Densetsu for the informations. I updated the video presentation. Also, thanks for broadcasting this impressive run on STGw.

Ah, right, forgot about that one. Also, coincidentally, a 613m C-L run by RS. on his Nico channel.

Ah, my apologies. The NAI video is apparently 716m and I may have found several leads for it. Stay tuned.
great !!!
11:58 Boss.exe has stopped working. Boss.exe is not responding.
Poor Raikou.

How you unstop or keep holding longer the HIT's?
Well done my friend 🤩
How do you get to the second loop of Dodonpachi?

Is this PSX or Saturn version? Or even Arcade?

@sakesaurus1706 29 bombs specifically
It's a shining example of the quarter munching, sink or swim world of arcade games. So yes.
