- this is the second band that opened up for RED and P.O.D. and this band is called LOVE and DEATH this is Brian "Head" Welch's band (ex guitarist of KORN) and they put on a kick ass show didn't get a chance to meet brian cuz he went to bed after the show but i got to chill with the rest of the band and there friggin awesome!!! can't wait to see em again

I love this band!! They're amazing!
He is not lip syncing and the audio were not previously recorder. I am a drummer and I can tell that you have not hear the record enough to distinguish the flawless record versus the couple of out of tone notes Brian has in this live performance. The drums sound exactly like in a live performance: please be careful in what you say because you are not right this time and do not mislead others in things you seem not to perfectly fathom.

I am a guitarist, and I have heard the record a few times. I just listen to a lot of music, such is how it goes when you spend upwards of 8 hours a day making backing tracks. Have you ever heard of multi-tracks?? There are many software such as Ableton which allow you to mute certain tracks. Say for example they recorded into a sound desk, there would be seperate tracks on that desk for certain instruments. They can export the tracks from wherever it was recorded into a live set.

But Brains Vocal tracks weren't muted. Those vocals you hear at the back ground are the backup vocalist. It's possible to get the same sound live by mixing a megaphone effect through the back-up microphones. Also, you'd be hearing double track voices if brian was miming (for lead vocals). You also hear brian gasping for air before he screams 2:22. That was not on the recording.

head is not lip singing at all wat you see in this video is legit its all him i would know i'm the one who recorded it and was front row and center stage to hear it so trust me he's really singing

While Head played in the video, the guitar parts were recorded and played off of a track.

Because in the video the audio ha already been recorded. He' just miming. It's much harder to play lead guitar, while also sing at the same time. You're essentially trying to focus on two or more things at once, what your hands are doing and what words your singing, not to mention trying to keep in time with everyone else. It's not as easy as some make it out to be.
It is also possible to mute these tracks. Say your song has two guitarists, but one gets sick so you only have one, then you just unmute what your sick guitarist would play, and no one is the wiser, something I have done on several occasions. While the drums, bass and the voice of head may be authentic, there can be smaller details like backing vocals which are played from a track.
