It just seems like these dancers "feel" the music in a way that I don't perceive when watching male/female couples. And is/was Dimitri a ballet dancer? His body positions and the way he follows a move through, all the way to his finger tips and toe point is just so smooth and "elegante".
Why am I just discovering this now? This is beautiful, and I think that West Coast Swing style lends itself so beautifully to gender neutral partnering.
I love Dimitri, but I think he would be very difficult to lead, since he often leads from the following position. You really have to be on your toes to keep up with him.
Really smooth and interesting. Only criticism is that the shorter guy is wearing mostly black. I really think unless the lighting and camera and the space surrounding the dance area is perfect no dancer should wear a single very dark colour. Contrast to the taller dancer and even in long shots you can see what he is doing at all times. But still, this is a great performance.

Every time these two get on the floor it is such a joy to watch. They are both so graceful and in sync, simply beautiful.
Nice. Men have been dancing in pairs and groups for thousands of years. Beautifully done. These two did a great job of reading each other.
I don't know how dancers can extemporise to such a high standard. Brilliant!
