Fun Fact: Eric Fish (the Lead Singer) actually hates to perform this Song because he don't like it, but it's such a Fan-Favourite that they basically have to perform it most of the time^^
Thats not true. 1. There were some differences with other bands claiming the melodic. 2. Its their "ever-green" so they play it mostly on every concert - BUT: cause of the fans - subway to sally as a HUUUGE group of fans wanting it. Whats a no-go not to play "Julia und die Räuber". if they wouldnt play THAT they could instantly stop the concert/tour. Blut, blut, Räuber saufen Blut... ;)

I am literally a hardcore fan, listening to them for over 13 years, have seen them life, own every single cds including demo cds and other unreleased stuff and I can assure you, he doesn't hate that song at all... coming from eric fish himself stated in several interviews :)
If he hated the song he wouldnt have agreed to entirely remake the song for a 2015 EP, which is the version this video here contains... the original Kleid Aus Rosen is from 2001s Herzblut
@@angar_9714 Maybe he changed his mind. Back in 2007 during the Nackt-Tour he told me he doesn't like the song but the fans love it, so they play it.
@Mortimer Folchert he never hated it, what he hates is how his singing performance is on the original, him saying that was stated in the 20th anniversary of Herzblut video where he tells us that he had no help on his vocals up untill this point. That only changed with the production of engelskrieger where he received help from a vocal coach, changing his entire vocal sound till today

The Kleid Aus Rosen you are reacting to here is actually a remake from 2015 of the original, the original version is from the Album Herzblut from 2001, which was their 6th studio album
In the original version, they have the backing vocals aswell in the studio version of 2001, its one of their trademarks and do that in pretty much every song, using backing vocals from michael and simon that harmony together with erics vocals... they are actually present in the 2015 version aswell, but far, far in the background
This band does musical masterpieces that are on such a high niveau that I havent seen another band making music in a similar fashion at all
"let me tell you something about your country" eh? Its ok amerimutt. I heard it on release date, even camped at our local store to get a disc. Was on the concerts - but thanks for copy and paste wikipedia + rewriting it a little ^^ By the way, "THIS BAND" - lots of us germans had direct contact to the Band in the early years, especially on festivals you're NOT aware of. But its cool you like and googled them.

I listen to this band and favor them above any other since I'm 10 mr. Amerimutt :)
