  • This was an incredibly lengthy experience, but a good one at that.
Finnair is managing their current situation really marvellously, and where some might see the extended travel time as a burden, I found it quite exciting!
Thank you for watching, and if you want to see more, feel free to stick around!

The ARC map not working at all sounds extremely weird, on my HEL-JFK on the A333 it worked perfectly, and was an awesome map indeed, I wonder if the hardware on the A350 is unable to handle it, since the screens themselves weren’t changed as part of the refurbish unlike on the A330. While you can see the cost cutting in Finnair they’ve still got the basics very much right, lovely video!

Oh I see, it likely has to be an A350 hardware issue then... I had the crashing occur on both longhauls from Hel-sin, and from hnd-hel. I saw a video from Vicarious Voyager who was on a finnair A350 lease for eurowings and he also had issues with the IFE map, but assumed it was due to the leasing nature or something alike. So perhaps the same hardware for more seats is a little much... regardless, finnair indeed offers a solid product! I'll fly them again! And thank you for watching! :)
