I enjoy talking about craft, especially when making comics. I had a thought to go with your breakdown over what the analogue for a cartoonist would be as far as a tv writer or director and I have always been of the mind that a cartoonist is the entire feature film production crew. Cartoonists are directors, producers, set designers, costume designers, camera operators, lighting and staging directors, actors and choreographers and even distributors, marketers, R and D, special effects and make-up. A number of years ago I stopped telling people I draw comics and that I make comics. Same time I guess I went from calling myself a comics artist to a cartoonist. That's what I find so engaging about comics-making is that you have opportunities to engage and explore and problem solve that helps get your idea and story across. But that's just me. Keep up the great work, guys. Huge fan, of both your work and I've been devouring your both your video catalogue as well as your comics offerings. Appreciate all the work you do to inform and enlighten.

I talk with a lot of LCS owners and one thing that they rely on to find out what is happening to have relationships with their customers - often times I bring in things coming out and new stuff from creators in conversation that just would never have seen, but because I brought it up they know they will have at least a few customers looking for it. Talking with and having a great dialog with their customers is beyond important to their model, not only to learn about that kind of stuff coming out but to know what their customers like.
So I have a sinking feeling I was in that group of assholes who bumped your camera at the Sienkiewicz panel. And if that's the case, please allow me to offer my sincerest apologies. We were on-line friends meeting in person for the first time, and just weren't thinking. But that's no excuse. We should have taken our shit outside, or at least to the back of the room. I'm very sorry we screwed up your taping. Especially THAT taping, because that was the best panel I attended Heroes Con weekend. Wish there was some way I could make it up to you, but in lieu of that... Well... Again, my apologies.

Are you hitting up Jim Mahfood when the next GrrlScouts hits? (believe he mentioned he's working on that) - I've heard you mention the Food One in the past and he's one of my favorite artists, also at times a 'one-stop-shop' artist like you fellows. As for beets, they're great for your blood circulation. +____+
You guys freak me out bring up titles I haven't read since I was 13: Warlock 5?!? Shuriken?!?! (And what ever happened to J. David Johnson who did some Comico work. Really dug his "Fast Pinball" in the back of Shuriken). Talk of smoothies with no mention of The Steranko Smoothie? Never tried it myself (as seems like it was not made for mortal beings) but Steranko swears by it.
