Hi @savinginstyle thanks so much for replying to my comment. I’m new to posting comments on RUclips and I think my comments were delete. I did a little bit more research and it looks like I had an allergic reaction (histamine repose) to the M8. I’m on day 3 the swelling is pretty prominent. I will definitely keep you posted. Thanks again for sharing your experience. 💛
THANK YOU!!! I had been looking for a video like this for days but like you said, they are all coming from the perspective of the one doing the treatment or just before/after photos and paid tolerance. I have been having this same problem and started freaking out because I couldn't find anyone else that went through what we have. You look amazing! So thankful for you posting this. :)
That's Exactly why I wanted to make this video! More to come as well! I would love it if you would be able to share the video. This helps me reach more ppl! 🙏 thank you & I hope you have a great weekend!
I think M8 is a wonderful treatment to do once a year on a lower intense setting to give the skin a little wake up call. I plan on continuing to do it every 12-18 months , not expecting noticeable results, it’s just more so for maintenance. I think m8 is not for everyone. Everyone should start with 1 treatment ( not purchase 3) and just observe your skin closely to see how it reacts, because not all skin will agree with it. Also do not have expectations that this treatment will lift and tighten the skin. It will only help preserve and slightly better your skin.
I had this treatment a week ago. No pain at all during treatment. Had numbing gel on for 1 hour. Was told I could use Benadryl cream or oral for swelling but didn’t need it. Was “flushed” that day, looked like a mod sunburn that night and by next day all redness was gone. I am dry and peeling some. Wish I knew how to attach pics. I think who does the treatment makes a big difference!
I just did this procedure yesterday on my neck. I am so swollen. I look insane. I haven’t seen anyone else post pictures similar to how I look, so your video was very helpful to me. I know I need to calm down and wait to see the final results, but I already know I will not do this again. Not worth it. They told me my down time would be minimal, but I can’t leave the house like this.
Aww 🤗 I know how you feel girly and I'm so sorry! That is exactly why i decided to make this video last Minute tbh. If you swell more and its increasingly painful. Communicate with where you got your procedure. Send them photos if possible. Ive have microneedling done before and i never reacted this way either. If i could have taken a half a dose of allergy medication or ibprohin i would have. If i had known. So ask if that would be an option for you. Tbh Itll be rough. I couldn't see friends or family or go to the store because I was so embarrassed unfortunately. I plan to do other procedures just not this one again 🫠🫣. Keep me posted and stay safe!
@@savinginstyle thank you! I’m on day three. Yesterday I started taking ibuprofen and an antihistamine. The swelling is dissipating. Skin is still very red, and it’s loose and wobbly in a way that it never was before. I’m hoping this will tighten up as more swelling goes down. Eek. In the future I will just stick with micro needling.
@@mirasingh7428 it’s been over a week since the procedure, and I am still healing. The swelling is gone, but my skin is still pink, with raised, dry bumps from where the needles punctured. I don’t think this was worth it for me, as I don’t think my skin benefited from the procedure. I was supposed to do two more rounds, but I plan to cancel.
Yes Morpheus8 is extremely painful, I do have a high pain tolerance but this is really uncomfortable. I had 4 treatments and honestly I’m not sure I would go through that pain again. Healing for me was about 5 days if not leaving my house for sure. Thank you for video and yes not many individuals have posted on their experience with Morpheus8.
Interesting review. I can see the difference in your skin and face shape. Seemed to have successfully treatment, not sure why you wouldn’t recommend at the start but at the end you did.
I just did this procedure yesterday in my face, chin and neck. My dermatologist recommended me use during three days a soft cleanear in my case (for my location: gentle cleansing mousse) and after i am applying me twices per day "Stratacel", it is advanced dressing gel for fractional procedures and my sunblock. At 4 day i wont use anymore stratacel. So i will use the same cleaner, rilastil 72h aqua intense sensilis twices per day and the sunblock. At night i will use Sensilis recovery kit. Currently, i didnt swolling, only little redness. My dermatologist also recommended me cicaplast baume b5 from Roche Possay or Cicalfate Avene instead of recovery kit
Yes it hurts A LOT!! My ps gives two rounds of numbing cream before treatment. My downtime was about a day but I have seen major tightening of my jowls and my enlarged pores have disappeared. I don’t think it’s for every one though.
@Najat Jeha yes! I am leaning towards pdo threads. Personally myself. I do not want a "cat eye look" like the Kardashians. I'd prefer more of a Youthful, awakened look. So that way when the threads dissolve it helps build collagen back where I want it to be.
I’ve tried many procedures throughout my body and learned that you will swell and get red, feel dry and you have to give healing time, you can’t freak out the after you get something done the day off and the next day.
I don’t know how anyone has had this procedure done without pain. I’ve done it twice. The first time was just Morpheus8 with numbing cream and pro-nox. That was painful but I did see great results without much swelling or downtime. I waited a year and did it again (just this week) but this time it was Morpheus8 with PRP and exomes. This time they went deeper into the skin so I received numbing cream, blocks and multiple lidocaine injections all over my face. PLUS the pro-nox. It still hurt just like you described, rubber band, bee sting, electroshock. And this time I had a LOT of swelling which I didn’t have the first time. So I know it was much more intensive of a Morpheus treatment. I’m on day 3 and swelling has gone down quite a bit…hoping to see even better results this time.
Had RF Micro -needle treatment 4 wks ago. I only had minor swelling, a few needle size scars. My minor swelling when down in a few days. I am in my late 60’s I see minor improvements and I am very happy so far. Slight tighting in my lower face, improvement under my eyes (not the lines but the sagging). Most of the improvement has been to my skin texture and sagging. I am not seeing much improvement in fine lines. I would definitely do this again. Maybe ellacor (skin coring) next time. 😮Note I tend to get milder irritations from peels and these type of procedures than most people according to derms and aesthetician.

I just had this done today ! Oh hell no. They just numbed me they didn't have laughing gas or anything. It was painful but tolerable . I can't do a second round I just paid for the 1st found. When it hits the bony areas like the chin and jaw it hurts. I didn't bleed or anything and my skin wasn't as red. I'm still young 31 and have good skin . I won't be doing this again
Again I had this done 2 days ago and had the numbing cream for 48 min. And I did take a Hydrocodone 325 mg that I had and I felt nothing and I’m the biggest biggest baby - so I recommend having this done I look great and I’m having my 2nd procedure done in 4 weeks and I can’t wait
You can cal the company directly to inquie=re as well. EVERY medspa know the inofrmation post Morpheous8 treatment. This is a control healt/controled injury to face for remodeling. Thank you! I'm 34. I honestly didn't notice much compared to the regular micro needling. It's very painful and unnecessary compared to what the results are. I saw a bigger difference with PRP microneedling I think.
@@Bh70399 yes very subtle signs. That's why I documented my results. I don't think personally it's worth the investment for me, looking back. The cost and pain outweighed what minimal results I got from it.
My medispa recommended this for my chin and neck tightening so I am watching videos to see what it is all about. This is way more brutal than I expected. I just had a Halo laser and my face and neck were falling off for ten days. Looked like a giant scab. The procedure itself was barely painful (2/10) (1 hr numbing cream) but the 4 hours after it feels like someone poured acid on your face while laying on the surface of the sun. It was very difficult to deal with. I was on benadryl for 6 days straight. The swelling made me look Chinese. My cheeks ballooned up so much into my eyes. Was it worth it? Probably not! I don’t think I will ever do it again! Even leaving the house on Day 7, I was in a hat, mask, scarf and sunglasses.
I apologize for any offense, but I am curious if you have had a chin implant. I used to have a similar appearance, but I found that a silicone implant did not work for me. However, I had a custom implant created, and it made a significant difference.

Thank you for your video.🤍
Of course! That's why I wanted to make the video because I didn't see anything other than Promotional advertising. If I can take my experience and help someone else make a more informed decision I'm happy to do so!
is it like the same pain as IPL?
@@AmberUnraveled from wat I see and can tell no. Morpheus8 is pretty painful even after they numb you for 30+min
