Thank god Apple have dramatically improved the Apple Watch. I had this original Sport and I sold it less than three weeks after I got it brand new from Apple. It was nothing more than a gimmick at the time. It wasn't waterproof, didn't have many features and the screen real-estate was just too small with the bezel and display size, even on the 42mm I had. Plus the battery life was poor if I remember correctly. Fast-forward to today, I've had my Apple Watch SE (Space Grey) for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. It's what the Apple Watch should have been from the beginning (water-proof, feature rich, better battery and a much larger display size at 44mm with more screen real-estate). I've gone from disliking the Apple Watch to absolutely loving it (the series 3 is when I crossed the line, even though I held off buying a watch until I got my SE). It's become an indispensable part of my life, I use it regularly and manage to get two days of battery from it (unlike my original sport, where I used it a couple of times before using it JUST for telling the time. I was lucky to get a working day out of the battery). If you were unimpressed with the original/early generations of the Apple Watch, then I can safely say that I would fully recommend getting an Apple Watch SE. The Series 6 just isn't worth the extra money just for 2-3 extra features (the vO2 feature is really unreliable from the reviews I've read, and it's the main selling point over the SE)
***** wow very few American videos on youtube have the Stainless steel version either there still waiting on the stainless steel version or they are tight arses one of the 2. Most people I know loved the sports model because it was cheap, that I know, but the stainless steel model is so much nicer, sapphire and stainless steel you can't go wrong with that.

I just ordered the 38mm because I was told most women prefer the smaller screen. I chose the Rose gold and lavender one. I'm pretty excited about getting it (it'll be here Monday).
How do you feel about the fact that only the gold one comes with a case that can change the Watch? Just put the Watch in the case, there's a port on the back to plug it in, and the case can charge it. I wish the less expensive Watches had that feature in the case too.
Great video as usual Mike. You do realise that whith such a hi res video at 1440p then at the ten minute mark your finger print biometrics are now public record so I wouldn't advise having anything of value accessible via finger print.
A lot of people don't seem to realize this, but when you're on the watchface, to access glances or Notification Center you don't need to swipe from the edges of the display. Just swipe up or down from anywhere on the watchface, even in the middle, and you'll get the panels. Since its so small, and because the borders of the display are supposed to blend in with the glass, it doesn't make much sense requiring you to swipe precisely from the edges.

A great alternitive with the IPhone is the Fitbit if you don't wan't to buy the watch but it's easier to but on than the fitbit charge.
