I had not seen him before so his acting stood out to me, especially since he plays Malcolm the way I imagine Malcolm would carry himself day to day.

Luther is unique, well acted and doesn’t overstay its welcome. British television is so good that way. This series was so good I binged watched it twice.
I am overwhelmingly shocked that the Crime Show RAY DONOVAN is not amongst the Top 10 mentioned. The writing on The Showtime show is spectacular; frequently weaving in the thread of the catholic molestation that haunts the family. I respect everyone's recommendations regarding this subject matter, but I highly recommend watching this show.
Ray Donavan is an excellent show but Showtime got greedy..Thy should have ended the show after season 5 rather then putting out 3 more subpar seasons..

I think it takes place in Rome.
One of my faves. Did you know the lead actor is also the writer? And he made a film in 2005 called "the magician" about the same character "sort of". And since 2005 he was waiting like 15 years to get the tv show into production. As one of the stipulations was that he plays the character. The producer of the show is also the guy who funded his film and his friend. It's an interesting story, cause he's just a normal bloke who was a taxi driver.

They should be in literally EVERYONES top 10 list of best Crime TV Series. They're as good as All time Greats like Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Better Call Saul, 24 (night be more Spy instead of Crime Genre), The Wire, Top Boy, Peaky Blinders, etc.
How can you not put Sons of Anarchy on the list? It's numner 1 and the best TV show of all time and entertainment. Nothing else comes close to that masterpiece. Top Boy shouldn't even be on the list off best crime dramas LMAO.
True.., collected Good Girls for my partner but ended up watching it my self, it has a good pace but issue wit it is that the girls never succeed on anything which is a bit lame.

Godfather of Harlem is also a pretty good history lesson for that period. The actor who plays Malcom X is outstanding.
