THE 3RD LAYE|R - I Fell A Sleep At Minute Six - The Sandberg 14

On a cold evening begin march 2023 I passed the Amstel and the Blauwbrug in Amsterdam and fell into a rehearsel of a performance by 14 students of The Sandberg Institute in an open tent in front of the Amsterdam Opera. I filmed random 6 minutes of what I saw.
Afterwards I found out that the subject of the 40 minutes performance was the dream and titled I Fell A Sleep At Minute Six. I gave my conceptual film the title 3rd Lay|er, because it was an enchanting experience: I saw in front of me the rehearsel of a dream performance, but also as a second layer the making of with the production of it. And then I realised I had a third position from where I saw the two layers, a dream, the making of a dream and then, who was I?
What do You think about Your dreams, are You also the third layer when You are awake? Is dreaming real, or is it magic, sorcery? What is reality? You probably don't know, but I do.
