RIP Mike Connors! Mannix ranks among the greatest detective shows ever on television!

I love seeing Mike in these kind of shows. He could be funny or sad.
Mannix was the best private detective series that ever aired on television. Mike Connors was great and very convincing in his role as Joe Mannix.

Mike Conners was one of best cops ever. And he was one of the best dressed cops. unlike Kojak he was great. Even though they were in 2 different states. He could be funny at times but most of the time he was for real in his part. Even though he is gone now. We can look back the work that he left us. Mike and Peggy were partners and they worked ❤.

I always thought that Mannix was a Private Investigator. 🤔
He was a private detective/investigator.
But he WAS the BEST dressed one, too.
Coincidentally Mannix and The Lucy Show were both produced by Desilu/Paramount Television
How is that a coincidence? Lucille Ball owned Desilu, which means she she owned both series, until she sold Desilu to Gulf & Western, which renamed it Paramount Television.
Desilu also produced Star Trek: The original series and The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Danny Thomas Show.
Mike Connors just died of leukemia at age 91, just one day after Mary Tyler Moore. 2017 is starting off bad for celebrities again just like 2016.

John Doucette was the penultimate bad guy! Even though he was Shakespearean trained, he enjoyed playing the heavy in shows ranging from "The Lone Ranger" to "The Wild Wild West" to "Here's Lucy." I loved his voice!

I love how Connor comes back out of the closet and says aren't you going to lock me in? If I were him I would have said you guys are probably going to learn tie and gag me as well huh? If you look into my desk drawer you'll find a package of hankies and the bundle of rope, I'd be more than happy to offer this to you guys to properly restrain me with.

Mike Connors died on the same day as 'Perry Masons' Della Street, Barbara Hale. My grandmother thought shows like this were funny back in the day. Today they look really, really, tired.
