The Diamond Select Gallery line proves that pieces don't have to cost a fortune to look good, big fan of the scale, easy to display multiple pieces without taking up too much space, which is a Bowen trait. Most impressive piece by a most impressive company. The cost also allows for adding custom touches without fear of ruining an expensive statue!
@@BatmanStatueCollector That might be a first for us Chris 8-) I have a few of the DC Gallery pieces; Dawnbreaker, Red Death, The Batman Who Laughs and the quality is fantastic, I have added some custom paint work to the Red Death lightning and real chains to the Bat Who Laughs piece, simple but very effective. They look great alongside more expensive pieces, mixing things up a bit creates interest in the display, too many high end collectors sneer at the cheaper pieces but that snobbish attitude is unwarranted, hope to see more of these reviewed in the Batcave, cheers 8-)

Love this piece as well. Bought it on Amazon a few weeks ago. To be fair, there are some down sides to this piece. - there is a lot of little bits of flash on it that I cam not sure can be helped with a PVC statue - the metal spikes are not all straight - again, PVC has its downsides - doubt that this could be helped - the mouth really is a little icky looking (I know...such eloquence) End of the day I HIGHLY recommend this piece. I love Batman, and this is a really nice addition. Bat-on-a-budget is exactly the right phrase.
I'm a ZBrush sculptor and I'm a total newbie when it comes to licensed statues (is that how they're called?) but I wanted one for a long time to keep me inspired but I didn't want to spend too much. I saw your review of this Batman statue and I was hooked! I bought it new for 50 bucks and I can't wait to receive it! Thanks again for your review!

This is one of the better Diamond Select pieces that I've seen. They did a great job on this one
Always loved this Bat on a budget segment Chris, diamond isn't no Prime 1 but they really have the best bang for your buck
