My reviews are of the ship STOCK, when you purchase the ship on the store or in game. This means no upgrades were applied, nor do I typically discuss upgrades.
This video showcases the Anvil Arrow, a light cost light fighter by Anvil. How does it stack up at its price point? Is it worth the investment?
Let me know what you think in the comments below!
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed!

If you've played SC for some time, then you pretty much know the Arrow prowess. It is small, nimble, and very hard to hit if piloted well. With four energy guns, it can hold its own against any other fight...proven many times over. Maybe in the future the size spread (S1 vs S2 vs S3) for weapon damage will increase and it will be a more niche fighter. But now, it is as good as any.
One size 1 shield is not a much a detriment than it appears on paper.
The ship is so small and agile that learning how to not get hit is your shield.
Once you master that it's basically infinite shield.
Nn13 are garbage and overheat too quickly. Now that distorting is under control for now, going all laser repeater is the best call
you can put size 3 weapons on every mount, just nog gimbal. makes for crazy dps for such a small and nimble ship
Thanks for the comment, my reviews are stock only but when I do my upgrades video I'll discuss that.
While you can switch out the wing guns with size 3 weapons, per Erkul the DPS does not change much and you lose capacitor on laser weapons. Ballistics still have the low ammo issue with size 3 guns. So the trade off is debatable.
You cant switch the turret for a single s3 weapon anymore for several patches now. And i dont understand why its worse in terms of maneuverability than than the Gladius balance wise because it has nothing at all going for it: less shields, forced s1 wepons on the turret AND less agile. Imho CIG should make the Arrow more agile than the Gladius and let us switch out the turret for a s3 weapon but keep the smaller number of shields (and give maybe a smaller capacitor compared to Gladius) to make it balanced.
@@grayssoncarl5020master modes fixes this
Love the Arrow especially in atmo but I always change the weapons to fixed repeaters normally and switch to em missiles. Bring your enemy into atmo with the Arrow and out of atmo in the Gladius.
Great looking ship. It’s going to be interesting how ships change when they give them a gold pass, especially small ships. I do think they can fit everything in there. Just have to make an easy way to hope up on top
And have you seen “the good dinosaur”? The little caveboy? That’s exactly how my boys are And it sounds like yours are too. Glad the holiday was Good though!
Have a Mustang Delta. Love to due low bounties and light combat with it. It is equipped with 4 Attrition 2s.
The stock loadout on the Arrow is sad and is near unusable, I always change it out every time. Still a fun ship for the way it moves, and at the moment without armor implemented, 2 Arrows (with good pilots) can take down a Redeemer (fully crewed)
Fun tidbit about the top turret is with head tracking, you can fire sideways (basically a broadside) when the 2nd setting in the gimbals is active (target). there are a few other turrets that can do it too, such as the Hornet ball turret (2 size 2 one).
something cool about Arrow, you can buy liveries with UEC
but after fly with Gladius, Arrow became obsolete
Kind of. Arrow beats gladius with superior skill. We will have to see how MM effects things
With a lot of these ships that don't really excel at anything in particular you just have to be in love with the style and make it work as your ship despite its shortcomings, or pick something else.
Dont excel at anything.... its been the pvp king for ace pilots since its release.
I agree the stock loadout is bad. However the reason you only have 1 shield generator is the size of the ship....your not suppose to be getting hit. For comparison look at the gladius...its a much larger ship comparatively.
100% correct. The arrow is the smallest possible non-snub independant fighter. Its meant to be quicker and more agile than the gladius as well as smaller.
what did you do with OddLease?
Way to late to change now but two scores, stock and customized would have been nucw.
Im going to be re-reviewing all ships due to the big changes in 3.23 so this is a great idea.
Man... your takes on fighters... they hurt me a little bit XD
Honestly I have a hard time reviewing fighters right now because the entire way they work is changing this year.
But again, these are just reviews based on what you get… and my opinion on them.
@@EvenLease44 i get it, just brutal seeing the best fighters in the game called essentially useless XD
Rivets? Wtf. Modern adhesives are much stronger. Tell them to lose them.
Rivets looks cooler. Remember this is WWII but in speehs
None of the ship designs makes sense since all ships would look lame.
