Chinese developer Freesoul has ignored two court orders to stop the destruction caused by their development of a massive resort on Fiji's Malolo Island. They're accused of running roughshod over Fijian environmental law, permits, the environment, and the island locals.
The owners of an adjacent site, two Australian surfers and a Fijian local, are out to halt the development.
This saddens me. I'm a born Fijian now living in the U.S. this will plague the Island. Its like a cancer that won't stop until head officials do something. Money isn't everything. This tarneshes the gem of the South Pacific that Fiji is.
Im so sad for you and your pplz future from here out, tht is the best place I seen on earth. They will make their money have their fun trash the land and your pplz image, faith, and reputation of your children tht is the way of conquest. Buy some of your own land to keep your voice there. What a shame, I just encountered these videos. If I am in that frustration I will call environmental activists or the 3 of you start filling that hole with a shovel. Just start filling and showing by the power of media what you are doing. If there is love for the islands, start filling what was damaged,you might get help. unfortunatley I am far far away, really sorry. I hate money power.
