I guess I shouldn't feel bad that I barely got to 44 listenings and already sold 5 things 🤔. Only been on eBay for a couple of weeks. Have been wondering how fast stuff should sell and what to expect. I do expect some stuff to sit for much longer and it's ok because I only buy things I like and would keep for myself. Thank you for the informative video!!!
I sold a 20-year-old Littlest Pet Shop 8x12 poster with a tear, within 5 minutes of listing. For only $8....if I knew it was that collectible, I would've listed it for more, lol! I love your videos. :)
Hey Kat, great vid as always. I’ve spoken in depth with eBay on how best to optimise product and the over riding importance are the first three (some say four) title words as they are only that show in the search. Using typographical symbols will restrict the listening because Cassini (eBays search) doesn’t recognise them. Also titles should not start with antique, vintage, VTG…. It should always be name of the item ie Lenox village giftware apposed to vtg 2003 5”. Using Vintage and antique are too universal for specific items. When relisting or selling similar try changing the titles and see if it makes a difference. I have two shops one general and one fine and this tweak made a noticeable sales increase. Have a great day.
I’m obsessed with your videos - THANK YOU! I’m learning so much and have really been on the lookout for new things to surge my online sales. It’s working! I’m excited about selling again! Have you ever been to the Swap Shop in Fort Lauderdale? It’s crazy great for treasures for only a dollar!
Ugh, the scarf person. 😫 I'll bet she won't return the scarf because she's expecting a refund or at least a partial refund to get the scarf for even less. 😢 Sorry you have to go through this.
Love your videos. I am learning a lot. I have been selling on eBay part-time for 30 years. I am interested in how you keep the vintage candles from melting when shipping in the summer.
Thank you for your videos! They are super informative! I am new at reselling. It seems likw my biggest syruggle might be using the best keywords! These items sold ate fascinating to me. Also, it seems like thriftfing is duoer variable depending on location.
Love your channel learn so much❤❤❤ the Lennox spice sets are crazy right now sold a whole set with shelf in January for 1247!!!! I shed a tear when I found it 😂😂
You buy in lots. Anyone who watches you knows that. License plates, Harley pins, etc. I love buying in lots. Once you make your initial investment back, the rest is profit! I do that with doilies, toys, handkerchiefs, etc.
How colors are displayed on someone's screen can vary. I have this issue too often when I'm photographing, certain colors just don't translate well. She probably had buyers remorse if anything.
I kicked my reselling into high gear two weeks ago. Now all Jake wants to do is watch is watch your videos! I might be a little jealous 😂 Kidding! Bummer about the Hermes! That hurt me for you! 😢💕💕
My humble advice on popular, trendy collectibles like the Barbie outfit would be if it looks legit yet I can't find anything exactly like it for comparison, I'd consider it "very rare" and price it in the high range (depending on condition, of course). As cute as it is and the fact that it's formal wear I'd take a look at auctions, too.
Can someone help me? i won at auction, a Reed& Barton fruit bowl that is marked 60 on the bottom. Saw the exact one sold for 453.00 on 1st Dibs, but see the same one on ebay for 45.00. What am I missing ? I am new to ebay, made my first sell yesterday.
I never use first dibs as a comp is not a good one to compare to ebay. If you see it on ebay for 45 check sold and it might not even be selling for 45 might need to be listed lower
Sorry if you already answered this somewhere, hopefully not too personal, but since you are now reselling as your main gig, how do you pay yourself? And how often. Is it like a % of your profits, and you reinvest the rest , or is it a set amount you've calculated? Or something else? Thank you!
I have 6 employees so for me I pay them first and then pay myself what I can. When it was just me I essentially just paid myself enough to pay bills and the rest was reinvested
Oh my gosh. I have that Alice in Wonderland paper doll set because I’ve collected Alice in Wonderland since I was a kid. Maybe I’ll sell it. I have all my Alice in Wonderland in plastic tubs. I’m in my 50s now so it might be time to get rid of it.
Do you always list as 'best offer' rather than 'buy now' on eBay? If so, why? Resellers seem to go either one way or the other. ... And if you want to come down to Clermont to help this nearby newby ... 😵💫😂😂
Buy it now with best offer is still buy it now and I have it on all my listings because it helps boost you in search results and if you buy right you should have room to take a good offer
If you click on all my links on description it is there also on front page of my RUclips channel or you can search the_nurse_flipper ebay store on Google
I had gotten a negative feedback before Christmas ( first one in two years ), i reached out to ebay business on Facebook via messenger and they ended up taking it down. Some people in the eBay community forum suggested it to someone else so i figured what do i have to lose snd it ended up working out, maybe give it a try worse thing that can happen is they say no right?
I can’t believe that toucan set took so long to sell! Absolutely adorable!
Yes, my thoughts exactly lol
Kat you could sell flames to a fire ! lol. WOW on that sticker
😆 😂 😆 😂
That stained Ken shirt reminds me of my late mother, the resale queen, who would look at a stain and say confidently, “I can get that out!”
That's awesome!

5 of 44 that fast is great! Some things definitely take longer
That’s actually an amazing result with only 44 listings!

The bear on the Lisa Frank sticker resembles The Grateful Dead bear!
yessss
Used to love shopping at Levenger.... Great leather office items day planners, etc in addition to high end 🖋️🖋️
Ohhhh good to know!
Good old Delray Beach! The Leveen's were always so nice; I delivered mail to their home and to the store.
I'm convinced Kat, you can sell anything! 😊
Hahaha I've heard that a few times in my life

Yes that's what I'm thinking too
Kat - Re: Hermes Scarf - have had random buyers that are unreasonable, but thankful most buyers are nice!
Yes for sure luckily
I really like your new format of what sold videos.
Happy to hear!
Thank you…so interesting to see what sold and how long some items took to sell!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great sales, Kat. Too bad about that Hermes scarf. Hopefully you’ll get it back in tack and then block her.😏
Oh she's already blocked 🚫 I'm thinking maybe she wanted a refund without returning the item
Kat you have a GREAT eye for sourcing. Thanks for sharing and the tips for when I source.
You are so welcome!
Love your videos. I am learning a lot. I have been selling on eBay part-time for 30 years. I am interested in how you keep the vintage candles from melting when shipping in the summer.
The vintage are so hard we have no issues with them lol. Newer ones though are at danger of melting but we don't sell many of those

Yes it's insane
Congrats on the Lisa Frank. The small mat is a prayer rug. xo
Thank you :-)
I love the Barbie clothes you sold. I have passed on buying stained ones…won’t do that again. I love your “show and tells!”
Glad you enjoyed!
The rug is a computer mouse pad.
Now it is a rug lol

Yes very true!

Yes I agree it is very frustrating. We should have some color code chart lol
Holy cow on the Lisa Frank stuff !! I never see any out thrifting but you bet your bottom dollar I'm going to look lol
I haven't found any in the wild either only online auctions
I kicked my reselling into high gear two weeks ago. Now all Jake wants to do is watch is watch your videos! I might be a little jealous 😂 Kidding! Bummer about the Hermes! That hurt me for you! 😢💕💕

Where do you get all these FINDS?!!!! Thank you for sharing.
I thrift and buy a lot from online estate sales

Great sales!👍 How did you know to price that single sticker so high? I'm not finding those kind if sold comps on ebay. Was it very rare?
I looked it up on Worthpoint
I would have picked up the toucan, lol. Thank you for being the voice in my head when I go thrifting.
I still would I think 😆 🤣 😂 😹 you're welcome
Hi Kat 😊
Hello :D

Hi beautiful Kat, Thanks for your awesome videos. Love you as a sister that live far from me.I hope one day to meet you. ❤
I hope so too!
What is UP with all these ads today? A 19 minute video, I'm literally 10 minutes in and I've already seen 8 commercials? WTH!? Ridiculous!
I'll look into it

i need to raid my childhood home for Lisa Frank
Lol yes!!
Barbie person here🤣 Well I hate to tell you, the Barbie sheath shawl and purse is about $170!
The gold one? What's is name I couldn't find it anywhere lol lol
I’m curious about how you shipped the Barbie dress.
So, barbie person, how can I determine prices on vintage Barbie outfits (my own, over 40 years old) that were made by hand?
@@cherylhicks7424 in a padded envelope
Was the yellow lace thick, or WIDE? It didn't look thick.
Wide :D
How long was that piece of lace, Kat. I can hardly believe Lisa Frank merchandise sells so high. Amazing.
I dunno it was a roll we aren't measuring

They do decent not worth a ton. I'm not a collector myself so it's hard for me to give opinions on selling collections
good info!! Hey if your an RN I kind of like RN PICKER for a name. Also like Nurse picker.
I've built my channel to over 77000 subs with the name the nurse Flipper I think I'll keep it
