I never comment, but I'm watching your Nya going into her freshman year. I remember when she was born. Now in high school. She's so beautiful and gracious, confident, and structured. A definate example for todays youth.

The grade inflation at her school is CRAZY. A 4 in a regular class accounts to a 4.5 in an honors (My school was like 4.2). That essentailly means that over the course of four years of high school assuming you have six classes a semseter and you get all A's with a large portion of them being honors/ap, you could literarlly earn well over a 5.0 GPA. Yes, added credit in harder courses can look good on college applications, but Universities also account for the schools grading system for their students compared to other schools. And typically schools with higher grade inflations have lower test scores and grade averages, so colleges and Universities also highly judge the student and what classes they take as well as the high school and what classes they offer. Then again, college is open to anyone but not for everyone. Just hearing that teacher say that really stood out to me. Anyways, I hope she enjoys her first year of high school and works hard, but manages time to have fun.
