Nubii which translates people from the water. Nubii was a group comprising the Gad, Dan, Reuben and few members of the Asher tribe. Gad tribe provided soldiers and army to protect Egyptian gold mines and territories. Reuben tribe was managing the daily Pharaoh's activities, Asher was nurturing Egyptian princes and Dan was a healer for the Egyptian Royal family.
Collectively they spoke two Hebrew authentic dialect Obutu and fɔɔ. The word Genesis is Fɔɔ language which is Je lɛ sisi meaning the beginning of the world. They collectively fought against oppression from the Egyptians after failed agreements. Most of these Hebrew tribes were occupying the middle and southern part of Egypt so they fought their way through the south south part of Egypt and settled on the land between southern Egypt and northern Sudan. The Gad and Dan tribes which is mostly referred to as the warrior and healing tribe had leaders such as Lamorodu (father to Obatala and Oduduwa of Yuroba in Nigeria), Laweh (father of GaDangme, Ghana), Ayikushi (great warrior in GaDangme). Asher are presently the Ashantis in Ghana, Zulu of South Africa and Mozambique. Reuben presently are Igbos, ewes and Togo and Benin republic.

The contemporary flame of black enlightenment, sparked by the earlier black scholars; Cheikh Anta Diop, Théophile Obenga, Henri Clarke, Ivan Van Sertima, amongst many other gallant black warriors, must serve as a reminder of our brilliant past and potential, brilliant future

We must teach our own Black history to all our people regardless of age.

I agree with you ,we need to know our history..
We must!
Or have your own schools, gov't and country......how that work out for you guys. ?
I am hungry to learn African history from actual African people. We must tell our own stories.
I will start and begin with Togo. Before I came here to the United States in 2002.
Growing up there at 6, 7 years old. The two languages were French and Mina. French was spoken in schools and Mina in the households.
All I got out of it as history is concerned is the wars with Ghana. And if you look on the map. We are next door neighbors.
Togo was once a bigger nation, but by the way things appear. Ghana seems to have won the wars and taken our territory or the territory, hence why it is such a small nation.

We shouldn't take the bible as a history book. Yes their is history within it,but its been raped so much by westerners that it can't be deemed a reliable source of historical information especially when it comes to black people and africa.
@BlacK Of All Trades could you quote verses?
@BlacK Of All Trades The bible was never ours to begin with. I am amazed at how gullible we are to accept a book, partly historical(their history) and to a greater extent, fairy tales. They gave us their book and of all the races on earth, africans fell for it from head to toe. It is heartbreaking. Apropos, Jesus was a common man just like you and me. He happened to form a cult that has been fanatically adhered to by the majority naive!
@@martinyegon540 I believe you are chatting rubbush! The Bible is all about black people. Only the Atlantic slaves ship slaves have experienced all of the curses, written about in Deuteronomy, Jeremiah, Daniel, Eziekel, just like the Bible said and have been Afflicted 400 years. The word fair is found many times in the Bible and does not mean White people, it means beautiful, lovely, eg fair land, fair woman, fair river ect. In that image of Ramses Meri-Amun/ U’ser Ma’at Ra Setepenre or Ramses II charging at Nubians with his chariot, you can clearly see some black and brown skinned Nubians but if you look closely you can see some are even the same shade as Ramses himself. Eurocentric love pointing at this as image as their proof of their hostility, yet dismiss that fact. For centuries they have been trying to whitewash and distort Ancient Egyptian history, as well as minimizing the relationship between Kush and Kmt, when in reality they were sibling civilizations that inhabited the Nile valley.

No. It just goes to prove that people got lighter skinned the further north you went, and darker the further south you went. There was no strict dividing line. There's nothing Eurocentric about it as....we're not talking about Europe.
@@urbanwarrior3470 That’s not what I said, read my comment again... Also the site of El-Kurru and Amara West dispute your claim. The Nubians were indistinguishable from the Egyptians as you have some if not most Egyptians that were just as dark. For millennia Nubians and Egyptians intermarried and blended their two cultures into one. So when Eurocentrics try and portray them as bitter enemies who were never on good terms is just them trying to distort history. As it’s completely untrue.
Nubia was the bigger brother of Egypt. Everything Egypt knows, they got from Nubia. Everyone knows Egypt for their 3 Pyramids, Nubia had thousands of Pyramids. Egypt is known for hieroglyphics, a large part of their writing was gotten from Nubia. The truth is no one talks about Nubia because there Nubia has always been populated by dark skined people. People fail to mention that Nubia at the time had the strongest military in the world. Kinds in Europe hired nubian archers to fight in their wars. Egypt did the same. Egypt had been conquered many times by other civilization, and i believe that is the reason there are mixed races in Egypt. Most kingdoms who conquered Egypt couldn't travel further south to Nubia because they knew how powerful they were. This is actually the topic of my next video i am working on. @MARK PERRY do you know that DNA science is a western world invention, as good as its discovery is, just like the gun it could be use to protect and also use for terror. the whole ancient Egyptian identity has been highjacked by the western world both for racial and political purposes against the black race of African origin and this DNA test is the only evidence they have to lay claime on this history whilst the Africans who knew or even traced their ancestries to the ancient Egyptians are talking of historical facts like the sculptures, paintings, language, cultures and even religion that are still found today among the African people even wester respected historians attesting to the black African-ness of these people were disregarded. today the whole Egyptology thing is shrouded in secrecy and anthropologist and excavators of black African origin are not allowed to participate; have you asked yourself why the controversy remains it will continue on till the truth is allowed, justice must done to human history.

There are many ancient civilizations that are not present in modern history books, including the modern history books of the countries in which they resided. Two things are needed in order for history to be passed to future generations. 1) A written or recorded account by the people of that civilization. The Egyptians for example left behind monuments such as the pyramids, tombs, and hieroglyphics (a written language that could not be translated until the Rosetta Stone was discovered). 2)The descendants of that generation must keep a spoken (or personal account) of the history of their ancestors. There are many ancient civilizations that have been forgotten because they did not reach the prominence of Egypt, Athens, or Rome. Prominent civilizations such as these recorded more of their history and build architecture and monuments that are still present in modern day. These civilizations also spread their influence by war campaigns. The remnants of ancient civilizations we never knew about are still being discovered in the modern era. Also, the history text are biased for civilizations they feel made major contributions to the modern era. Many civilizations that have existed perished for various reasons before they could accomplish much. Their history perished with them.

Before I even begin to watch this video. I would like to add. Or why is the history of Black Wall Street not taught in schools ?
I had to learn a lot on my own or by myself. For example, the numerous black inventors and inventions.
Gas masks which were used during the first World War. If I read correctly. Was the invention of a black person
Traffic lights (I want to say) during the same time period, relatively, was also an invention of a person of color.
Although the history books and there is even a school named after this person, even though, any real intellect would question this person's ethics as it relates to the way he treated Nikola Tesla. Thomas Edison.
Who is credited with the light bulb, but over the years, or just to speak or write to make a point, it was a black person who worked, you can even say developed the filament within the light bulb to make it shine brighter.
So whenever you go over to someone's house and their lights dim. Don't think of Edison, think of the black person who never recieved credit.
Including Fiber Optics. Which was the invention of a Ghanian. A black person.
It is taught in schools. Try a higher level history course. They don't teach it to elementary children lol

The upper reaches of the Nile (i.e. modern day Darfur/South Sudan) would have had very dark skinned Nilotic people (hence teh name). Obviously you had the Cushitic people, who are darkish, and going on more northwards people would have gotten lighter - but things were quite mixed in the middle areas
@@urbanwarrior3470 The Nilotics are the true native of South Sudan. We have almost the same Ancient History. What I mean is. The Ancient Rulers in Egypt and Nubia were of a (Kush) race.
We Cushites love and respect the Nilotics.
But we didn't Mix.
That's why you have still pure Nilotics and Pure Cushites. Like the Somali, Afar and Saho tribes. We look like the Ancient Cushites. And we speak a Cushitic language.
@@havilahkuush7110 All good. But teh fact is that the further north you went delta the lighter skinned people got
Couple of examples
Scorpion II, ruler of Lower Egypt (the northern bit) during the Proto-Dynastic period 3200 BC en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kingscorpion.jpg
Look at his nose - it's fckin massive. That's a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern nose
Same with this dude from the same period

Personally i can't see what the big deal is here. There are a lot of very badly informed people on here (not referring to you - you seem to at least know the different groups within Africa) who think geographic Africa and so called black Africa are teh same thing
Love this. Self education is freeing bc thr education we are given is mind-numbing. Empowerment to the people✊
But "They" never deciphered the Meroitic language found on the tablets?.......Glad that some secrets are kept..
I just love this channel so much! it made me realize so much things about my history! proud to be african!
The ancient Nubia simply mean Unubia which is Igbo ,these are the people that built the pyramid of Egypt. The people living in Egypt today never lived there before because they are Arab Fulanis
Different people. There is little difference between ancient Egyptians and modern in terms of ethnicity.
LOOOOL! C’mon my guy, Stop it!🤣🤣

Thank you for recovering and restoring our foundation in our history! As a people we've had out history and information stolen from us in Hidden from us is time that we uncover it and put it back out in the open vividly so that each and every one of us if we want to can find it anything you want to share in Africa I would appreciate anything and if I think of anything in specific I'll definitely put it in a comment box again I appreciate and thank you!
I love the history that is coming out today❤️🙏🌹💋💯
Nothing more gratifying than knowing black people had a rich history!
I love this ...Africa need to preserve its history
Fantastic video. I am using your channel as part of our educational material to teach my girls about being “African and Proud”
WE ALREADY KNOW WHY THEY HIDE IT... LETS TAKE IT UPON OURSELVES TO JUST PUT THE INFORMATION OUT AND ON DISPLAY THROUGH BOOKS, ART, AND FILM ON HOW GREAT THE NUBIANS WERE.
Learning history in school in Canada, there was a lot of time spent on Egypt, but I can’t recall learning much of anything about the world beyond Egypt’s borders at the time, but clearly there was a whole entire world’s worth of stories out there!
We would all benefit greatly from a more well-rounded education that better respects all the experiences of people around the globe. Thank you for these videos and this channel!
Haha, that's hilarious!! 😂😂
