@@NOyaPara I’m sorry but a majority of Harden’s steps backs and side steps are travels. He picks the ball up (as in finished his dribble), holds the ball with both hands, then takes two steps to the side or backwards. That’s a travel. Unfortunately it’s been adopted around the league and is trickling down to younger players now. I don’t see any traveling here with Klay though.

i think what his shooting percentage shows is how important contesting shots as a defender is, klay misses not a single shot until theres the guy defending just slightly, but it puts the player in a whole new situation mentally, thats why just getting an arm up and manifesting your pressence as a defender is so important and not only in basketball it works the same for soccer, football (qb for example) and handball. no matter how good you are at throwing you will always seem a little less good statistically when shooting in a competitive environment.

He's not athletic, he's not going to razzle dazzle you with wizardry dribbling, but this dude can shoot the lights out. He's what most players would call hard to guard and a pest on the court. Klay's shooting ability makes him an asset.
