In this video, I discuss some of your filmmaking hot takes and offer my opinion on whether or not these spicy takes are in fact good or bad. We talk about whether or not you should spend your money on a big camera rig, which camera brand is best for videography, if you need an f2.8 aperture lens or not for your filmmaking, and whether or not you should use auto white balance. Yoooo that f2.8 question was mine! Thanks for the response.
For sure man! Thank you for submitting
Do more of these
I agree! I always used to shoot with 2.8 but it wasnt worth the amount of shots I had out of focus. so overrated, sometimes wished i saved money and got the f4 version instead.
For photography and for what we do at the studio (sports mainly) we REALLY need the 2.8, but for video? We rarely use it.
If you have a full frame camera you f2.8 is an extra. Apsc is a must.
Could you do a video breaking down/comparing Davinci, Adobe, Final Cut? Even tossing Cap Cut in as a comparison as well maybe?

Hey Peter, I was wondering what the best budget camera would be, also keep up the good work
Tough to give you one that’s objectively the best, but within the Sony ecosystem zve10, zve1, a6500, a6700, a7iii, A7C are all decent options to consider on a budget (among others)
always very informative 🙌
Thank you! 🙏
In which range you set up your white balance (kelvin) for outdoor and indoor filming ?
Usually 5600 for outdoor during the day. Indoor varies based on the colour temp of lights. Night time under stadium flood lights usually anywhere from 4500-5000K
this was dope
Thank you!! Glad you liked it
I have a Sony FX30 and I film in SLOG 3 for video, but whenever I take pictures the SLOG 3 is embedded into the pictures. How can I fix that?
Before you start taking photos you can change your picture profile and then when you go back to video the memory recall preset that you select default back to the picture profile that was assigned to it
Shoot in Raw and you can change the profiles to whatever you want
