I've always loved this Form, Powerful and explosive, while still keeping fluid relaxed movements. A short simple looking Form that is much harder to do correctly than meets the eye! Great job as always Master Basili!
This is awesome form he displayed. For those that do not know what he is saying, he is counting in Mandarin Chinese. It took me a bit figure this out but I see why he is counting in Chinese. Yi (one), Er (two), San (three), Si (four), Wu (five), liu (six), qi (seven), ba (eight), jiu (nine), shi (ten).
Ciao Syn. Good question. I studied it with Professor Yangli in Beijing in 1988 and never wondered what branch of Xing Yi it was. Now doing a search I see that it is really the Sun style!
@@DanteBasili Ah! Anch'io ho cominciato il mio cammino nelle arti marziali a 6 anni! :D Era Karate pero', non esistevano corsi di Wushu nella mia citta' all'epoca. A 14 anni ho comiciato col Wushu (Changquan e armi) e da li' la mia conoscenza e' cresciuta senza fermarsi. Adesso a 41 sono probabilmente all'apice della forma e continuo a migliorare. Mi sa che il Wushu e' anche un elixir di lunga vita. ;)
