That's a 2nd Generation Impreza but the windbooster website only offers 3rd Generation and above??? Help me out here?
This is the best explanation so far of exactly what this gadget does. I’m actually quite interested in how much it could improve the mpg on my vehicle. Not to mention I want to see what kind of kick in the pants it can deliver.
I installed one of these worked GREAT. Problem is if i key my CB radio it wipes it out . I have to shut off the car and let it reset. Any ideas, other than don't use the CB .
The one burning question here, which is why exactly I would need this, is: DOES IT REMOVE THE ONE. SECOND. THROTTLE DELAY from standing starts? I'm at traffic lights, lights go green, I press throttle pedal 3 inches because I want instant getaway, but there is a painful, distinct, almost one full second delay. Does this Windbooster remove the delay? Because DTE pedal box doesn't - On my BMW M135i Xdrive F40 2019
Absolutely not - it modifies the pedal resistance, but it sounds like that delay is an ECU "feature".
@@vPerformance i drove my 2002 impreza cable throttle for 400,000 and now having a 2007 impreza DBW its really a bummer. Looking into it i was hoping your answer to this question would be yes...

Can this be detected if you have a warranty on your car
No you just need to unplug the controller and it's back to normal.
Did you have any issues with it chucking up error codes?
No but the heat was causing some issues!
