The misunderstanding on this episode is 1000/100 and I love it. 😂 Also what if his random bsht description about Santa is the actual Leader of Diabolos that would be insane.
I think this arc works really well with the novel. For readers this arc had introspective perspective on their thoughts and confusion every move Cid made in depth adding to the final humor of Cid pointlessly digging under the snow (Yuki means snow in Japan, Gettan couldn’t speak properly so he pointed towards her stating Yuki my precious 😂). For the manga version the drip of John smith, the comedy gags and Delta artwork made it one of the best arcs we had seen so far. In anime Mundane man did pretty well since he had more action and battle oriented scenes. John Smith had scenes like intimidating Yukime and making her misunderstand.
cid "go on journey" is basically just running from the girls cuz he thought they mad and dissapoint at him cuz his plan failed and mitsugoshi just good, he literally think "i just gonna ghost them for several days and then come back and just cool with it, nothing happened"
The funniest part is that it is a huge W for Shadow Garden but a big L for Cid, maybe even his biggest L yet. Adding up, I would like to point out that with Deltas hunt on black Jugga Jugga, Yukime has basically the whole Lawless town under her control. With that, Shadow Garden has gotten a MASSIVE increase in influence not to forget, the monopoly on the bank notes
The conclusion of this arc was that Delta is best girl and that's it, she completely surpassed everyone in Shadow Garden in term of relationship with Cid, she does missions and hang out with Cid the most, she's the only one who know Cid is Shadow and can still hold a proper conversation with him without getting flabbergasted and turn into a "sasuga shadow-sama" member. She even used off-screen haki on Jugga Jugga, the thing that only Shadow in shadow garden have access to. Truly the doggo of all doggos. That's how you know she's the best girl.
Cid is that character who has max charisma and luck but don't know how to use it and things somehow always work out so the player is like hey if it ain't broken no need to fix it
They do a lot of sus things with the anime lol... Back ep 1 s1 - the guy Cid fights with crowbars is basically Guile from Street Fighter Episode 5 s1 - There was that dark knights + iris vs the girl turned giant demon that was AoT This episode - Long black hair check, sharingan check, red armor check fighting 9 tail fox check, Madara vs Kyuubi... just off the top of my head, probably a bunch of other little shenanigans in the anime if someone went back and looked lol.
