- I love doing this root shadow/re-tone a few weeks after I bleach & tone my roots! This acts as a "root shadow" camouflaging my new growth while also re-toning the roots! I also add in a brow tint at the same time. This is a great service to schedule for your clients who get double process blonde because typically the roots need to be toned again after a few weeks, this makes the color last so much longer!

I was a cosmetology instructor and wish every student could listen to your story. So many of them think they are ready to open their own salon suite right out of school. It doesn’t help that salon suites are popping up all over the place. God bless you.
it’s so true! i’ve seen many stylists start out in a studio and fail then get so discouraged :( I hate to see it! that’s the main reason I created my successful stylist series, to help out other stylists 💗

I love your faith in God ❤️ I have a similar story: earlier this year I was having A LOT of issues at my previous salon; I was pregnant and didn’t know if or when I should leave. The night before my 28 week check up, I asked God to give me a sign. I said to Him, “depending on how this appointment goes tomorrow, I will make my decision”. At the appointment, I found out my baby boy had cysts in his brain that weren’t going away and I’d need to see a specialist, naturally I was devastated and did not get the response I needed from my salon. I quit that day. The cysts ended up being harmless, but I knew it was the push I needed to just leave. When it was one week before my due date, I went to an old high school friend’s salon to have her cut my hair and she told me they had one more chair open if I wanted to come work with her after maternity leave. I’ve been there almost 2 months now and absolutely love it. I feel so free, and I am able to have the work/life balance that I was so desperately wanting ❤️ God will always lead you to where you are meant to be

Having your own salon, seems soooooo fun and wonderful, but for me.. I couldn't do it, I love cosmetology, I'm not good with hair, but with makeup I feel like a pro even when I'm not lol..

The hair in that inspo photo is gorgeous, you should give it a try! It’s still very soft and pastelized so you can always go back platinum. What’s the natural level of your hair? It looks pretty dark, but against the platinum and with the studio lighting it’s always hard to tell.
