I have 2 of these blades (the boxcutter version) and wear one at work everyday, I read somewhere that peoples screws were coming out, so when I got both of mine in the mail I put a drop of lock tite on each screw, have had no issues with them. The base of these handles can be used for striking (ie Car Window, self-defense) which is why i like to carry one around with me. And they do open quick, which is always smooth as butter.
I have bought one in Bucharest. The fastback thing does not work, I have to do the wrist move very hard and almost throw the knife and break a window. I don't see the utility of the black button. Other than that, nice design, very well-made.
+PrecisionTaping Everyone should really try a tape from Fastcap. I am just a customer and have nothing to gain from it. They are 16ft if that is all you need, but have features that I love and no other tape has. They are only 10 dollars or so. Cantilevered belt clip for easy on off of your belt clip which nobody else has. (I do not know why). Built in standard pencil sharpener. Available in different designs as far as metric, standard, mixed, reverse etc. BEST OF ALL -- You can write on the side of the body in pencil or on the tape on some to note marks or write down measurements so you do not forget or have to carry a pad. Then just rub it off with your finger and a little moisture from your tongue. Self locking when you pull in out. Just press to retract. So convenient. No other tape I have seen has these features. VERY HANDY! FASTCAP HAS MANY OTHER PATENTED AND UNIQUE TOOLS NOBODY ELSE HAS!! They even have a tape with a built in hypotenuse scale on it. REALLY COOL!
I use mine, the box cutter, hundreds of time a day at work, and it still works like new. My most used tool, and one of my most satisfying purchases.
