Christ is not going to be eating or drinking on the begining of the day of the lord when he comes.The reason why I said begining is because of (2 peters 3:8)After you read those scriptures read these in order 👉(Jonah 3:10)(Tobit 12:8-9)(1 kings 8:46-49).What if all the righteous Israelites fulfill everything in these scriptures on one of the day of Atonements without nobody realizing it. 🤔Read(Leviticus 23:26-29)

In Exdous the Hebrews built a Tabernacle in the wilderness and atoned for their sins by giving blood a sacrifice of a pure unblemished animal. Jesus was and is the Atonement for our sins. Jesus kept Passover, but He had not established the New Convent. Likewise with Paul hewas still operating under the old Jesus came to forfill the Law. We needed a high priest to atone for sins. That high priest was the only one that could go behind the veil, when Jesus died the veil was torn in the temple. He come to God through Jesus Christ. He is our Atonement. You can keep the feast or not the price has been paid.

The Bible says no eating or drinking. It never said you can not shower or brush your teeth. No need to add or take away. No work, no eating and no drinking.
Im a male registered nurse and when patient are dying we rub a sponge soak in water inside their mouth. It’s relieve the dryness because the water gets absorbed through the flesh. When you brush your teeth water relieve the thirst feeling. That is the scientific reason but you should not need a scientific reason my man. Keep the lord commandments, ain’t no way around it.
Fact; we cannot let anything touch our mouth brothers and sister.. some people don’t even shower on that day cause they don’t want to chance water touching their mouth.. the ATONEMENT is very serious 🧐 .. we are trying to show the MOST HIGH that we are willing to afflict our souls for him.. 24 hrs of nothing touching your mouth is easy once you do it for a couple yrs , your body will start to adjust .. shalom stay in the spirit family✊🏾

Brushing your teeth would fall under tasting something so I can understand why he said no toothbrush
It’s a sabbath so no igniting a fire . When you shower with hot water the heater ignites a fire to make the water hot. So no showering.
