One thing that happens a lot on these 911 calls is the person calling 911 is calling from their cellphone so there's a delay on the cellphone end and the operator is being heard and recorded in real-time, so by the time the person calling says something the operator is already asking another question. So what they're saying to each other starts getting crossed. If how I explained it makes sense.

Bank robbery is always a federal offense...If you use a gun, I know it was a mandatory 10yrs in the 90s & you have to serve 85%....If a person used a note with no weapon, didn't mention a weapon or any threats of violence. They'd get like 3 to 5yrs. A guy I went to HS with who was pretty normal. Not a violent criminal type. Got the bright idea at around age 20. To get a gun and rob a bank. He got 10yrs & spent about 8 1/2 yrs in federal prison. For pretty much a 1st offense. Had he chose a store, he probably only would have got 1-2 yrs.
