I used to work as an EMT, a gas station in town furthest from the police station got hit about twice a month. The employees would just call into dispatch, "Hey just calling because we are getting robbed again." Dispatcher knows their number by heart.
Using an ounce of critical thinking and even slight patience would've lead you to realizing that there was a time cut and the dispatcher literally instructed them to exit through the back

One thing that happens a lot on these 911 calls is the person calling 911 is calling from their cellphone so there's a delay on the cellphone end and the operator is being heard and recorded in real-time, so by the time the person calling says something the operator is already asking another question. So what they're saying to each other starts getting crossed. If how I explained it makes sense.

Bank robbery is always a federal offense...If you use a gun, I know it was a mandatory 10yrs in the 90s & you have to serve 85%....If a person used a note with no weapon, didn't mention a weapon or any threats of violence. They'd get like 3 to 5yrs. A guy I went to HS with who was pretty normal. Not a violent criminal type. Got the bright idea at around age 20. To get a gun and rob a bank. He got 10yrs & spent about 8 1/2 yrs in federal prison. For pretty much a 1st offense. Had he chose a store, he probably only would have got 1-2 yrs.

Presuming for a minute that you're right and she shouldn't have done it, did you miss the part where two silent alarms were triggered by tellers, not the manager making the call, and that a remote security monitor also called it in? She could have never touched the phone and the cops were STILL going to show up.
@@MunchinOnDew in fact, calling is logically better than NOT calling. The two silent alarms and the remote monitor had no way to tell the cops he would detonate the bomb if he heard sirens, and they would have shown up sirens blaring. Which they did not do because of the manager.
