This might be a stupid question, but I’m learning to do my daughter’s hair and I question whether her hair will be moisturized enough in braids or another protective style of I don’t condition and oil it first. All these braiding videos I see it seems like only gel is applied to the hair. What should I do? She’s 4C low porosity and struggles with dryness really bad.
Wash and deep condition her hair and apply a leave in styler to her hair.

Lord I wish I knew how to braid cause my daughter is 12 with hair down to her bottom and some days I wish I could braid because she got that curly hair but it tangles fast if it’s left down longer than two days and her hair eats moisturizer but she has that slaps some water on it and go type of hair….. I want to take her to get it braided one day but she too tinder headed she get that from me unfortunately 😔….. but anyway I love your work keep it coming 👍🏽
