    Thank you for the explanation. My brother is hospitalized right now with Legionnaires disease pneumonia coupled by Giardia infection. Not sure where he contacted either infection. Praying he will pull through.

      How is your brother doing ? I was hospitalized Feb , lucky to have pulled out am now back at work and functioning 85% every day gets better ..... never meet anyone else to have gone thru this

    So could all these ReUsing of disposable masks may result in an outbreak of this?

      i would say probably unlikely, as the bacteria comes from the direct inhalation of water droplets that have the bacteria in them, and it seems (to me!) unlikely that your mask would have these droplets on them unless you're specifically using these masks to work on water heaters/etc, and unlikely that you'd inhale those droplets with a mask, used or not

      Believe me I hate the masks too. But I saw corona hit my hospital and spread out of control around the staff and the patients. It stopped spreading when they made all the staff wear masks.
