Based on my experience, it does not matter how latest the type of the aeroplane, for as long as it is economy class, I really do not expect something extraordinary. Unless, airways change their business plan by having a configuration of 2 3 2 OR 1 3 1, then I do not expect too much. :D

@mac0757 The toilet seats in the aircraft lavatories have a built-in bidet function (Washlet).
