I was 10 when it came out, the perfect age and I watched it all the time as a kid but I can't defend the movie as some great masterpiece. My sisters age group loved those Halloweentown movies released in the late 90's/early 00's but it's the same idea. Not great movies if you watch them as adults but they've a charm, and I can get why people love them if they saw them as kids.
