- Time machine pabalik sa kalagayan ng Cainta hanggang Makati year 1989! Enjoy!

I recognize so many places here as a Pasigueño. It’s so refreshing to see the Ortigas Ave. intersection without the flyovers yet. And the fact that the Valle Verde area was still lacking so many trees. There was no Tiendesitas. SM Megamall and Shangri-La Plaza are yet to be built two years later. I’m glad to see what my birth city was like 35 years ago.
There was also no C-5 plus Bridgetowne is yet to be developed.
maraming salamat din po 🙏🏻♥️

Nanay used to take me with her to Country Side in Cainta/Pasig to sell fish in the late 80s. We're from.Binangonan. i barely remember how the road looked since i was just 10 at the time but i do remember how the jeepney looked.
we'd literally spend what felt like hours waitjng for a jeepney ride home.
thanks for this. i'll show this to Nanay, she's 82 now and i love it when she recalls these years. ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your recollection of these places with us! Please do send my regards to nanay.💕
Ohh! 1989 there's no SM Mega Mall. Because I see the San Miguel and for what I know San Miguel was in the back of Mega Mall.
My birth year, and now I'm 35 years old. How i wish before i die, that someone will be able to invent and create a time machine. I definitely want to come back in the 90's when everything is simple
I was really hoping for that to happen as well. With the advancements in our technology, I believe that someone, or perhaps even a group of dedicated individuals is already working on it.
iba tlga yung vibes noon kahit 1 year old lang ako nung panahon na to parang ang sarap sa pakiramdam na makita to.
Bale ang route pala nitong video ay Felix ave turn left to Ortigas Ave then nadaanan nila ang manggahann floodway bridge kasunod ang Rosario Pasig bridge , then turn left to c5 then turn right to Julia Vargas then turn left to st Francis likod ng San Miguel at future mega mall at shangrila then right to Shaw Boulevard the left to Edsa then buendia Ave...
I was only 4 years old back then. 1989 seems like a blurry, dream-like childhood memory from my prospective. But it's fascinating to look at that year in this video so vividly clear. It's like literal time-travel.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this video. We have more videos in store for you on this channel 😉
@@JungKook-up1ws same here po Ma'm, 4 years old rin po ako nung 1989,
hopefully yung next throw back video like this is how Las Pinas, our childhood memories, look like back then
Sobrang refreshing makakita ng mga ganitong vids from way back hehe
80s palang may vlog na...lupet
Normas leche flan. Parang mid 90s inabutan ko pa ung iconic signage nila
I enjoy time machines like this one
Yung sinasabing galing Valley Golf, Celso Tuason yun no?
First time ko nadaanan ito nung 2014 o 2015 pauwi ng QC galing Antipolo, nag Tikling jeep ako. Kaso nag Megamall muna lol
29:10 May malaking commercial building pala noon sa Edsa-Shaw west corner, kabila ng Manuela/Starmall. Ngayon naging 1-floor nalang.
27:22 approaching Shaw Blvd., the building facing front was the former Sony Music bldg. (now demolished and was turned into a residential bldg called as Twin Oaks Place)
on far left was St. Francis Church, the vacant lot on the right was the future site of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel
Thank you for sharing the video,…it took me back in time.a lot has changed,..from valley golf to makati ..you wont probably recognize it now..
Indeed, the area has been completely transformed since then. It was a pleasure.
GRABE MARAMI AKO NAALALA. LALO NA UNG BOLA NG GOLF, JUNCTUIN AT WALA PA PURE GOLD. SALAMAT
nuon pa man may vlogger talaga pala mga foreigner anyway, thats great video na preserve pa ngaun kahit napakatagal na panahong lumipas credit to the owner video very nice and clear video kahit dipa gaano digital ang video nuon very clear high resolution thank you
Nice seeing Ortigas when there was no Megamall yet. Only San Miguel building..
Currently, we call it as Don Mariano Building.

WOW! Valley golf, vista verde, country club and brookside hills subdivision where we use to ride bike all the time. 1989 when I left valley golf missionary school there for overseas missionary mission. We use to go to the Cainta public market as a Baptist missionary. Junction was full of beer houses and cabaret on both sides of street and always traffic and get flooded on rainy season. The 2 way highway from Rosario pasig junction to Cainta junction was always traffic. Always take the G liner and baby bus with loud music from recto Manila to there.😊
Grabe na aalala ko Nung Bata pako 🤔nakkamis noon 1984 Kasi me ,ilang dikada na naka lipas ma aalala ku mga Sina unang sasaktan mga old kisa ngayun mga Bago ng mga model
Super great video! Its really like a time machine! Thanks po ❤
I truly appreciate it! We have a lot of rare footage here on the channel, and we hope you can check those out as well. Thank you!
Sana may Tikling to Antipolo
The Jeepneys look old and tired then... fast forward 35 years and the same machines on the streets. Lets all pray for aircon mini buses.
RIP Petro Rosario Junction until 2012 nung Kinain na sya ng Kalsada :( saka Yung Caltex IPI Kanto dyan kami lagi nagpapa gas ni Papa noon
brings back sweet memories. thanks!
one thing that never changes in M.M. is the traffic
24:55 they were going into the direction of Julia Vargas Ave. corner Meralco Ave. notice the Strata 200 bldg and the now-demolished Philcomcen building at far right and the Meralco building

i remember riding those manila jeepneys with stacks of cassette tapes on the dashboard, with those awesome sounding pioneer car stereos, i recall not minding the traffic at all as long as i'm vibing to my favorite 80's tunes

Thanks again, Sir sa pag upload mo. May memories din ako sa Cainta. I used to work in a carton/cardboard factory there named Steniel Co.
If I'm not mistaken, I think it was during 1990 or 1991.
Minimum wage pa lang non is, I think nasa 120 to 130 pesos a day only.
Good thing yong factory na work ko is my free transportation sila na bus.
I used to live in Mandaluyong before.
