You could use a seam ripper ( small tool for sewing clothes ) to cut the rubber bands so it’s easier to take out the bubble braids
That would totally work!!!
Also I think if you use a fan of essential oil on aqtip it'll snap the bands
thanks! you're a life saver and I haven't even tried it yet. just want to appreciate you for the idea😊
You are a ray of sunshine and red looks SO good on you!!🥳
Thank you for this update!
I wanna see an Ariel costume/cosplay look with this hair! It would be perfect and so cute! ❤️
I have the bubble hair style currently and it’s been in for two months I believe the messier it’s gets the prettier it’s looks
I wish we could see them
How have you been washing them? I'm scared lol
As a white swedish woman with bonestraight hair I am always amazed on what people with Viv’s hairtype can do with their hair. Am I a bit jealous? Heck yeah, but for real I wouldn’t be able to deal with any kind of curly hair. I can barely deal with my own straight hair which ended with me buzzing all my hair of couple of weeks ago.😅Long live the buzzcut! So I will live vicariously by watching Viv experiment with her hair.
White British and I absolutely wish I could do some of these amazing hairstyles but my hair wouldn’t hold and certainly couldn’t last for more than a couple of days. Very jealous. So pleased I’m not the only pasty white girl looking at this Queen’s hairstyles with wonder.
You can still do bubble braids with your own straight hair
Pasty white Swedish American girl. I love watching Viviana with her hair. I always tell myself it’s because I’m probably going to adopt some beautiful black children “someday”. It’s actually because I really just want to understand the struggles that women with Afro-textured hair go through.
When I comb my hair it hurts. I love/hate my hair and I think many women can relate 😂
White af Australian girl with thick straight black hair and the HEAT was terrible before I shaved it I could probably fry an egg while I was standing in the sun.
Girl, see if your local satin hood hookup has an etsy shop or something! Pretty sure your viewers could clear her out. 😁
Jamaicans can not sell on Etsy. I tried to start a store they sent a email saying no😐😅. If viv ask them to start a ig business store it could work.
@@cehannarockwell I had no idea! I wonder why?
@@thebookwyrmslair6757 The main issue is when it comes to paying sellers for products sold (currency exchange) and shipping logistical issues that may or may not arise.
Esty just doesn't see the market value but Jeff does we can sell on Amazon. Natural pressed coconut oil, Jamaican Black Castor oil in clear none tinted bottles.
It's funny that this popped up because I was JUST about to go back and ask how sleep went with those. It was soooo gorgeous on you though 😍
Could you also post an edited down version of the take down after the live? I love seeing the take down but I simply don’t have time to watch an hour+ live
Yes please Viv!
Pleasee💖
Wow they still look so neat!
Viv, have you considered being a part of the Amazon Influencer Program? You mention so many goodies from there!
“How was I gonna function all day with this all hair on my head” I think this everyday 😂😂😂😂 Thick hair problems
Don't lie to us, Viv, you know you stole that bonnet from Santa Claus! That's just his sack of presents dyed pink! LOL!
Love the hair updates 😁
To easily remove the elastics, put a little bit of lemon essential oil (even hair oil work sometimes). It will pop right open.
They still look super cute and I love how they look fully up and half-up! For taking out--touch a curling iron (or any hot tool) to the elastics and they will snap right off! I know you don't like to use heat on your hair, but since it's not your hair it should be okay, I think? Dipping a Qtip in lemon juice and rubbing will also work but I like the heat method better, personally (quicker and doesn't require anything)
Yes but then your hair curler/straight iron has melted plastic on it.
You should try wool dreadlocks. They won’t be as bulky and they aren’t permanent. Think they’d look gorgeous on you
I think she already did that back when she first cut her hair off years ago
I really want to see this same style but with just your natural hair
ME TOOOOOO
There are a few videos out there without added hair. They’re very flattering and unique ❤
@@denyshadials5702 okay I'll research. Thank you
@@denyshadials5702 Right! They look good! Which is why I want to see Viv do them without adding hair. And see if there's any difference as far as the style's longevity.
@@syddaani I think that’s gonna depend more on the person and how they choose to maintain it. For example I’ve been washing mine weekly but everyone doesn’t wet their protective styles.
The fact that she apologized for having a Bonet custom made,is hilarious🤣
So this is just my life living with long locs. Lol!!
Me, a white girl with 2a and 2b hair: hmm, yes, interesting, I'll make a note of that
My hair is pretty long, though, so I'm seriously eyeing that shower cap 👀
I think they will be perfect if you did them more like "school girl plaits" by making bigger parts and less plaits, as apposed to doing them like jumbo box braids. I LIKE IT 👍
If extra was a person...bruh cant help but love you though
Maybe you should ask permission and share the info fir the person who made that bonnet because I need one
I’ve heard that drop of lemon oil can help break hair elastics! Maybe you can test it out in a video?!
Lemon essential oil DOES break down plastics - but it's not instant. It takes time. I left a straw of a spray bottle in lemon oil for a month or so... and the oil ate the straw. But it didn't happen overnight. (Also, Myrrh and Vetiver will also eat plastics and turn them very gummy.)
@@thebookwyrmslair6757 oh! I meant like those small rubber bands! I think there’s chance it might work because the thin width of the rubber and the tension it’s under from being stretched and worn. I wouldn’t expect something like a stagnant straw to melt away before your eyes!
The first style looks like a giant red tarantula lol❤
Lemon essential oil breaks the elastics immediately. Maybe that will help with removal
That reminds me of a balloon man who sometimes used orange air freshener to pop one layer of balloon; he would put several balloons inside each other, then pump them up
I'd try using half of the braiding hair per section and fluff it more so that it makes up in volume for the missing half.
thanks for making this update. I am one of the rebels that just wants to get a good idea of what I'm about to get myself into lol.😂
Using the incorrect extension hair for this style .. that's why it feels heavy :(
Essential oils easily break rubber bands without having to tug or pull at the bands
could the bubble braids be washed maybe under the shower hose with this style? Just so we can was our natural hair undeneath the synthetic
Mad I just noticed I haven't been subscribed 😒
Viv please..dat dei style flop. Mi nuh like it fi yuh,, sorry. Mi luv yuh doe. My girl
Thanks for the update!
⭐🌹😘💕⭐
Viv!!! I love ur spirit & all ur videos!!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
If you can't stand sleeping with something on your head, you can always just pile it up over your head. I have waist length locs, and I just grab them and push them over the opposite side of my pillow.
Cute style. I'm looking forward to the live. ! I hope I don't miss it
I love this update!
I guess next time use bigger sections so it isn’t so intrusive in your daily life ❤
First!
Love the beads and love the shells please do,another style with shells
I tried those before super light and easy to do
It does look super cute in an updo though
I love a good update video. Thank you!
Can’t wait to see how you take them off❤❤
I have this style in now!!
Those look so fun!!
The style still looks great.
Sooooo cuuuuute!!!
Love you, Viv!! ❤️❤️❤️
ninth
Why anybody would want that on their head is beyond me lol.
