I like your intelligent and differentiated view of the band's lyrics.
You're becoming my favorite reactor really. I've seen a lot of Rammstein reactions, and no one else goes that deep into the lyrics and analizes the meanings. Everyone else is like "TREADMILL! FIRE! COOL!" You're different, and looks deeper into each song. I love it.

Also the light in Till's mouth - he actually pierced his cheek for their music video, but it got infected so he used a wire later.
If you look at the official music video (so, not the live version) of Ich Tu Dir Weh, you get to see him singing with the wire going through his cheek as a piercing.

At first, the 'mouth light' went through a piercing in his cheek but he had to remove it and use a wire because of an infection !

@@lorgrenbenirus thanx for your answer....my bad englisch,sorry....i thought it means that he had already a jewelry piercing(a ring, or a plug) before. and then he decided to take the jewelry out, so that he can put the wire thru. thats what i understand, so i wanted to explain that he didnt have there a jewelry piercing. i wanted to say that he is that crazy, he let them drill a little hole in his cheek, just or the effect, so that no one can see the wire. He could easly do it the way you see it in this performence. but thats not Til...he wants it extrem and unreal, just perfect. And if he must take that pain and the danger for this little show effect...he will do it....for an awesome show, for entertain us Fans( who paid alot money to see them live), he gives his everything. like he is playing with fire, in different dangerous ways( he burnt and hurts himself accidently so often, ).....thats why i love Rammstein. Well, i guess i didnt write correctly in englisch what i wanted to explain. maybe you understood it after all. next time i will use the google translater, and not my freestyle englisch....however....it was nice and kind from you that you took your time and answer me.....thats cool and I appreciate that.............stay safe

I agree. No doubt he WORKS his voice when he sings. That barritone bass... Man, I do love it !
The stage fright stories are always fun. I read once that the pyro stuff started because Till didn't know what to do with his hands during some of the riffs. Totally different band, but the lead singer of X-Japan (Japanese rock band from the '90s) used to wear sunglasses on stage to not see the crowd.
I love his reaction, too. Always to the point! Till Lindemann imitates with his german pronouncation an old female singer named Zarah Leander - no, we Germans don´t usually rrrrrrrrrrroll the rrrrrrrrrrrr so strong - lol! Keep up your good work!!!!!!!
By-the-way- Tills Father was a well-known east german children book author - Till himself published at least two books with poetry.
Tickets are on sale for next year. The concerts were supposed to be this year and rescheduled. You can get tix through Ticketmaster at base prices. They were offering refunds for this year so tickets were returned and opened up for sale. I have tickets for the Feuerzone in Minneapolis and will hold on to them no matter how many times they get rescheduled. Flying in from Florida. It's 100% worth traveling for. I was at this Madison Square Garden show and the experience is priceless.
and it is easier to get tickets in USA than in Europe

We've discussed Tallinn but since there is so much uncertainty with covid we're going to wait until it gets closer to solidify plans. No matter what we'll be in Minneapolis.
@@herzeleidknits Ja. I had tickets for Cardiff and Lyon.. I had to cancel Cardiff as my work will not allow me to take a 5 weeks off in the summer ( this year was a one time approval only.) .. I kept Lyon ticket and I also have one for Montreal..... so hopefully a vaccine will be ready and concerts are good to go next summer...though I have my doubts that they will be able to proceed.

last year i had the chance to see them live, and it was so insane, the music, the preformances, the lightshows, the pyro show
dude you have WAAAAY HIGHER chances to get a concert card in the USA then in germany ... it was sold out in seconds in germany, we waited in my workplace until countdown was down and everyone tried to get as many cards as allowed for no matter the concert and then we split the cards how it fitted best. not everyone got a card bceause the site crashed nonstop because of traffic and not a single one got a concert card in a close city xD two got one in paris because they did not get one in germany xD
basicly getting cards in germany to the "normal" prices is pure luck but well, paris is closer then berlin anyways so no problem xD

I just needed to bring this up... They have a concert scheduled for May 2022 in Prague and I got tickets :D I am crazy happy about that, just quickly checked how many I needed and bought them XD
My best friend got really lucky and got us tickets so I actually saw them 2019 but she's also in a special club that allows her early access I think . I have to ask her again. She also got us tickets for the 2020 tour but as we all know covid ruined that. It's being postponed for the 2nd time now . Hopefully 2022 will be the year
I get what you mean about being happy and pumped up listening to this. I mean, imagining being a huge fan of a band who haven't been to your country in nearly a decade, they finally come back for a tour and open the show like this! And, as you said, it's a happy song! I get super excited just thinking about it.

one of the few "fun" songs by rammstein, was designed as a kind of comeback song/intro for the album liebe ist für alle da (2007/8?). fans really appreciated it there was no darkness or sad things in it, just fun and joy because there were several years no new album. so it becomes the regular opener for live concerts.

Again and again he is only moved into the nerd corner and underestimated enormously. What most people remember is only the treadmill he is running on while playing. Most of the Rammstein pieces are backed by a mostly inconspicuous but sometimes bombastically symphonic sound body combined with techno elements and so much more. It´s done so cleverly that it is hardly noticeable in the foreground. But if you take it out of the equation and mix it away at the mixer console, the rest sounds nearly like any metal band. Together with the typical Rammstein monster guitar riffs the keyboards in the background fill up the entire sound, make things round, and not at least because of this Rammstein sound so unique !
Apart from the fact that Til is a trained pyrotechnician, at Rammstein concerts a special stage worker is very close to the stage and is connected by a microphone to the person who controls the fire.
He feels the temperature on his cheek and gives corresponding instructions whether you can still step it up a notch or the flames have to be reduced.
At some point Ramstein discovered that you can make up with instant coffee.
According to concentration, black to red spots appear, which looks like dirt or blood !
Flake was hyper nervous all the time during an earlier tour. What did he forget ?
That he was made up with lots of coffee in the evening during every concert 😂 - Maybe the reason why he needs a treadmill 😄😉

I'm sorry, I remembered something: or maybe something that many have seen, but no one has yet made a reaction? ;) "Radio" by Rammstein. I like the song because it's kind of weird. And Til reminds me of Klaus Nomi with his make-up. Well, that's it again :)
I don't know if this song has been recommended to you before, but I would be interested to hear what you think of Rammstein's song "Amerika". Live or original video ... although I personally prefer the video. That is more telling.

i am glad they stayed strong in the beginning. and stand behind for what they do.....i guess they were afraid that nobody liked them and their kind of music. that people would think its too ´German´ too freaky and that Til´s voice sounds like an old german nazi mayor, so rough, agrassive. especialy his rolling ´R´ wich was typical german nazi style back in time. also their bandname. many say they named it because of this terrible accident(70 died over 500 injured) at a aerobatic flight show where two stunt flyers collited and crashed into the public viewers. The air base and the show was in Ramstein, a town in germany.....but the band say thats not correct...so its their secret what the bandname is about

There are so many play on words in Rammstein’s lyrics that it’s essentially impossible to accurately translate.
Try out "Mein Herz brennt" Live Download Festival UK 2016/Rammstein Official please. You will get Goosebumps and maybe a tear wil drop. Till is very emotional in this song and Flake has his moment with one note at 3.47

The name Rammstein of course refers to the biggest american military base in europe from which they control their drones in the middle east which is of course in Ramstein, Germany.

I think I've heard a band member say in an interview that they actually want to criticize the phenomenon of fans being so devoted to a band that they just blindly follow and believe them.
Uploaded on the 3rd of october... This is the german national reunification-day. But the 9th of november is the "date of fate". Their more recent song radio deals with live in the east (all band members grew up in the east). The wall was torn on the 9th of november 1989. Nearly one year later, on the 3rd of october, some treaty was signed and somebody decided that this would be a more appropiate date for a national holiday. Because a few other things happened on the 9/11 throughout the last dozen decades... some of them bright, some of them interesting, and some of them plain horror, doom, terror and darkness.
And indian friend asked me why everything is so black and white in germany. I said, that is not quite right. It is not just black and white like ink on paper or like coal dust on pale skin, it is also red, like blood or the breath of a heavy machine. And various "german" flags used this colour scheme with variing interpretations, but that is not my point.
It has always been all three of them: black and white and red.
A simple, quite limited colour scheme, but more than enough for about a hundred years of asking: What is a Germany? And most important: why.
Rammstein and many other bands use this colour scheme a lot, sometimes intentionally, sometimes subconsciously.

@@un7itledreacts i know, right? I mean, Queen released live at Montreal years ago and it sales well. But yeah it is mostly filmed at montreal. You can recognize the Bell centre, security guys wearing tshirt saying "sécurité", you can also spots some Quebec flags in the crowd.
