A really fun fact: It's Over, Isn't It? was gonna have a simple storyboard and animation, but Pearl's voice actress went so ham on the song, they had to scrap it and make a whole new animation for the song! I love stuff like this and it shows how well the voice actors are getting into the roles.
Interesting fun fact: The Mr. Greg episode was a test to see how well a Steven Universe movie would be if it were a musical. They ended up making the movie a few years later, and ofc it was a musical lol.
It's funny because it's literally just "muh muh muh", but that is a real thing that happens sometimes. Kids who were raised in bilingual households can sometimes slip into their second language in emotional moments without even noticing.
It's an easy to miss detail, but the first time we see Marty in "Story for Steven," he's with Vidalia in the back of Greg's van. That and I think there was a mention of Marty from Amethyst in "Onion Friend." So yeah, it totally checks out that he'd be Sour Cream's dad.
As much as I adore the song and how nuanced Greg and Pearl's relationship is part of me can't look at this episode the same after seeing the creator's notebook with those 2 making out lmao
I think pearl has finally come to learn that this isn't Greg's fault and that he didn't "steal" rose. I don't think rose ever loved pearl any more than she did the other gems so Greg couldn't have stolen her from pearl because she never belonged to pearl. 😢😢😢
