      @@Catsandnature-1234 not sure of any professional experiences like that. But if you do it be sure to bring someone sober to babysit. Never know what can happen out in the wild and its important to have someone clear of mind to take care of you. If someones dehydrated or injured you likely wont be able to help while tripping yourself.

    My recovery journey was supported by the therapeutic benefits of psilocybin mushrooms. Other psychedelics like DMT, LSD are exceptional as well when it comes to mental health related issues.

      Psychedelic mushrooms are truly remarkable. A few years ago, I was struggling with severe depression, mental health issues, and was diagnosed with BPD. My friend suggested I try psilocybin mushrooms, I still can't believe how much better they worked compared to traditional medicine. It was a lifesaver, it healed me.

    Being from the village where the mushrooms sold in San Jose actually grow. I have to say that the amount of tourism that arrives searching for them has created a situation of mass picking. My generation has witnessed a decline in their growth and quality. They are growing less and less. They gey picked as soon as they come out, not given the chance to grow enough to spore. Also they no longer get picked when somebody needs a trip yet they all get picked to conserve for the tourists in the dry season. Then lately they are too weak to even procure a trip. There are more and more cases where eating an entire family does nothing. So why do I write this? To bring awareness to what is happening. We are destroying such a sacred being. How typical of us humans neh? Well, the only comfort I have is that these mushrooms are so hard to find and the places known to us are not all. I hope they flourish in the places we have not discovered so that they don't become extinct.

    Love those woods. What an excellent place to trip. Back in the 70's, smoking a joint with your friends mainly meant going down in the woods and sharing some Colombian. That was the best. Being a carefree teenager had something to do with it but now it seems so innocent. We wanted nothing more than to enjoy fellowship and stupid silly stuff that seemed to make us all laugh until it hurt. Good for the soul stuff. And the woods were at the end of our neighborhood so you felt all safe and familiar. We'd have a blast hiking down around the creek and discovering stuff. We'd chill and come down and then all go home to our houses where our moms had dinner almost ready.

      +Count Von D Sounds like great memories to be honest. The woods are awesome to trip in. Connecting to trees and just feeling the amount of life that is around you. Opening up to the universe is great so we can see that there is more to life then just this. That it is bigger then we can imagine. I tend to trip my balls of in a Yogic and Shamanic way when i trip so i want to be close to home so i don't have to deal with sober people. But i'm heading out to the sea in the summer to spend some nights around the fire with some mescaline and shrooms if all goes well.

    • @countvond233
      @countvond233 8 лет назад

      +Erik Hedberg Ah man, that's sounds like a great time. I dig the idea of a Shamanic approach. Thinking of the Doors movie where they trip out in the desert and form a huddle. Quality bro time and with Mr. Mojo Risin', you can bet a Shamanic vibe superseded all.
      Enjoy and document for those of us having to live vicariously through you!

      So similar to my experiences. We had endless woods, creeks, and lakes within a walk or short bike ride where we could do whatever we wanted and no one cared. Ironically, if weed had been legal I doubt if those experiences would have been half as fun or meaningful, or probably would not have occurred at all.

    Tuve el placer de viajar a ese hermoso lugar, San Jose del Pacifico, hace unos 8 años, fui por la misma razón, comer hongos y conocer mi yo interno, en ese tiempo vivía un chaman llamado Macario, el cual me explico los diferentes tipos de hongos que existen, derrumbes, pajaritos y san isidro. Los probé en forma de té el cual es un sabor a humedad y tierra a la vez, no es nada desagradable, el efecto empezó en cuestión de minutos mas o menos 30, y me duro como 6 horas.
    Mi viaje fue algo maravilloso, realmente te conectas con la naturaleza y conoces de donde somos, de la tierra, gracias a ese viaje logre conseguir algunos objetivos en mi vida,y abrir mi mente, realmente te hace valorarte como ser humano y amar a tu familia.
    Tengo muchas ganas de regresar a ese lugar mágico y hermoso, con mi hermosa mujer, para concluir este viaje en la tierra, se que si lo hago quedare fascinado con las bellas cosas que nos da la vida.
    Buenas vibras a todos!!

    I know nothing about shrooms but I have to say I'm a huge fan of Daniel and all his documentaries and watching this was beautiful. Definitely not one to try them (to each their own) but if this truly does give people peace, and makes them experience life in a much more beautiful way, then this is wonderful. More happiness is needed in this world.

    A big part of experiencing a more visual trip is eating shrooms that are very fresh and even still wet. During the drying process most of the psilocin is lost and your left with mostly psilocybin . even small amounts of still wet shrooms can be very visually intense, also depends on the variety of shroom and psychedelic content, where I'm from in Seattle there are several types growing wild but the best are baeocytis and cyanescens which come out once a gear in the fall.

    • @mescalinemonkey8183
      @mescalinemonkey8183 10 лет назад

      cyanescens is my favorite theres a huge flush every year near my house

    • @NBAXXX
      @NBAXXX 10 лет назад +1

      Yeah, ideally they're better taken fresh, however, this does not mean the visual intensity cannot be achieved through dry psilocybin mushrooms. Psilocybin is converted into psilocin in the body through the dephosphorylation reaction, therefore only a slight increase of dry mushrooms is necessary to equate the same potency of a fresh mushroom trip.

    Shamanic and Yogic practices are a must in my book with mushrooms if you really want to go deep. But pen and paper rpgs are fun to once in a while on a moderate dose.

    • @danielmurray04
      @danielmurray04 8 лет назад

      +Erik Hedberg some people just believe things are shamanic, when they are not.. just look at the drones in the "you have to go to Peru and have a shaman" brigade re DMT! they say a shaman is vital, but then don't even know what the original ceremony was, or that the "real" ceremony only involves the shaman taking the substance... and these same people, doing a ceremony specifically designed to draw in "westerners" pontificate about "the problem of Western thinking".. while being deep in westerrn thinking, deeper than most! Take an indigenous or spiritual practice re package it and sell it to westerners! Condense it, get it into a shorter time with the more "tedious" parts removed, burn some incense and count the Western cash, wetserners have been looking for enlightenment everywhere but in themselves for decades, the aya mob are just doing the same "the answer is in the east, or s america or some physical place".
      I'd be interested to try a "real" and authentic sweat lodge, or druidic ceremony re shrooms... but i would also be careful to be there in it myself and not there outside the experience, know about the tradition before hand, which no Aya drones seem to do. I'd also say, don't slutter things up with to many rites and rituals, shrooms can make you lose your ego and conditioning, being in a ceremony that is pre organized and cultural, can detract from that.
      I gather you mean the shamanic practices etc to be done yourself, not "you should go to a ceremony or get a shaman" ?
