Presentation Description: Go Sun Smart @ Work, an evidence-based policy and education program to improve occupational sun protection for outdoor workers is being adapted for the latest technology platforms (i.e., chat bot and learning management system) and peer coaching, for diverse workforces including employees with skin of color (i.e., primarily Hispanic and African American), and to bundle occupational heat-illness and skin cancer prevention together for comprehensive sun safety. Adaptation of content and delivery methods are being guided by input from systematic reviews of the literature, focus groups with outdoor workers, feedback from managers and federal occupational health experts, and adaptation frameworks. Examples of adapted program methods and materials will be showcased and randomized trials testing the effectiveness of the adapted program will be previewed.
