I used to own a 95 e420 that ended up getting wrecked, it was a Rocket. I now purchased my first wagon, it is a 94 E320, Silver with grey Full leather interior. I am now traveling home with a wrecked 94 SL500 on my car trailer to upgrade that e320 to a m119 engine. She is gonna be a beast!
That's awesome man, I sure love the M119 engine. I actually owned 2 R129 SL500s, the last one I certainly regret selling. Beautiful red color, only 54k miles, 2000 model year... Probably worth double what I sold it for today!
20 years ago i had a 300TE with the same look, not AMG but Lorinser and with a manual gearbox. After now many cars, in can say it was the car wich i liked the most.
I feel like I'm closing a bank vault every time I close doors on my '85 300TD (W123). W124s are nice but the W123s have slightly more creature comfort, especially the backward facing 3rd row.
Customer of mine wants to sell their 89 300TE, and we couldn't come to an agreement, but I told him to drive it a little longer and I'll make an offer next time I work on it. They're getting harder to find quality parts for. And these get rarer by the day.
Yeah, it's just part of life when trying to own and drive as many cars as I can- ideally I'd be a millionaire and able to keep all my cars in a dream garage, but until then I have to keep rotating them in and out of my life!
That’s silver Stereo…😬 Blau punk makes a modern version of one of their classics that looks like the original Beckers. And has Bluetooth, front/rear/subwoofer, RCA, pre-outs, microphone… And the backlit is a perfect match for the incandescent soft light amber of the rest of the car. other than that… Perfect!
This will be perfect for my father sence he loves old school mercedes and wagons are cool Btw is there manual version me and my pops arent fan of automatics
bro i thought i commented on this but its not showing. what is this model considered, a e36 or a e400. what engine does it have? im a premerger amg fanatic. your car is so mega!!!! im slobbering more than the dog. you obviously know more about these than i do. now amg japan did they convert customer cars as well as sell the particular amgs like hammers, e60 e36. super epic car. we need more premerger content if you can produce some the world is craving it. this market has really got hot, if you were able to do a 80's 90's mercedes tuners channel it would be a hit. of course im not talking anything other than legit cars and tuners im sure you would feel the same. lorinser, zender treser, brabus gemballa sgs koenig mosselman. i really think there are growing intrest an market for this era. you could also do all euro tuner built cars; bmw porsche audi etc. anyway this is a epic car. i hope you some day get something similiar. i subscribed and amlooking forward to your future content.
Thanks for your reply, Gregory. I'm also a big fan of the pre-merger AMG cars. I sold most of the ones I had, but I'll be posting a review of my super rare 1987 Debonair AMG in the near future. This car is technically still a 300TE as the engine wasn't modified. As you correctly stated, AMG had a huge presence in Japan, especially in the pre-merger days. Customers would buy a new Benz, then take it to AMG to be kitted out. This one has the AMG body kit, AMG suspension, AMG Arrow wheels, AMG exhaust, and a few interior bits I go over. If only it had the AMG engine, then I would have gotten about 2-3x what I sold it for! Thanks for the sub, I also hope to start bringing in more of these German tuner cars from the 80s/90s, look forward to that!
@@AdamJDM1 i did I I actually worked at a Mitsubishi dealer in 92. We never had one but I was fortunate enough to go and Dax a car from a dealership that did but that's the only one I've ever seen very cool. Every pre-merger video I see I tell the person there is a market for a singer Porsche style tribute company building pre merger Mercedes restomod cars. I think people would go crazy for them from vintage original style cars to w124's with modern twin turbo 4.0 or supercharged 6.2. Carbon panels. There are so many companies doing it with other cars I just can't believe no one is doing it with these they deserve it just as much as a 911

i could just be here all day shutting the doors" lol i burst out laughing at that for some reason

@@ernst624 My w124 1987 300TD wagon has the rear facing 3rd row of seats too. and the doors sound more bank vaulty when they close than my w123
this is nice!!!! I drive a 1993 W124 400E (M119) with 296K miles ( daily driven)

I feel your pain! That thing was super clean! Sad to see it go.

Looks awesome. Looks like the wagon version of my sedan
That interior is the same as my 300TDT sportline model 😍 Not as good condition but still
That is one nice looking car, and practical to boot 😀
What is the name of that specific car stereo? I love it.
Liking for the KOF intro music 😂
I see you are a man of taste!
What a amazing car!
I want one of these

W124, the last quality Mercedes before Lopes ruined the marque. I have a W124. 320TE in black over black, all extras, love it!

amazing wagon - but not all the options - missing memory seats and telescoping steering wheel.
Good eye, I forgot about those.
Hellllo heeeelllooo sir,
Are you selling your wagon for I want to it, please
Already sold, but send me an email if you're interested and I can help you import one just like it from Japan.
