I think it boils down to the knurling. I have the stainless Ohio and it feels great. The knurl on this bar is pretty passive, and I have the coated version so it might not be the best for powerlifting since it's a little slick. For the money though, I think this is a solid barbell.
@@Barbend okay thx.i have 2 ohio power bars .one in stainless and one in black zinc. So i wanted a bar with a more passive knurling and no center knurl to do some clean & presses .so i went with the iron bull competition in stainless.

How is it holding? Can it handle being dropped off from overhead?
How much weight can be loaded on to this bar?
It's not listed on their site, but it has a 200k tensile strength rating, so it should be able to handle 1,500 pounds.
