This whole solo debut plus the whole album is like what and how she want to thanks the fans that wait for her for a long time during her hiatus. Another main title track, When This Rain Stops (Hope you can react to it too. There a live version MV), the song is like her bibliography. That is what she wanted to tell to her fans too. So basically Like Water and When This Rain Stops is comfort songs for the fans and whoever outside there that having a hard time during this time especially this pandemic.

U have to react to it too 😇 p.s this album is a consolation to all the fans who waited for her after 1 yr. 5 months of hiatus after her stage accident. She suffered fr. cracked cheek bones, pelvic fractures and wrist injury. we are just so happy that Wendy is back alive and healthy 😇
Out of all of her injuries, it is weird to think that the wrist would be the least of the problems she faced. OBVIOUSLY she may never have been able to walk again if the pelvic fracture had been worse or if they had not done everything they could to help her as soon as possible (THANK YOU, SOLAR!!!). People can still sing while sitting down so even if she had never recovered the ability to walk again, she would still be able to have a singing career. The shattered cheekbone could have actually been the one injury to have potentially ended her career as a singer. She would of course still be able to write, but what kind of headspace would she be in if it hurt to even speak, let alone try to sing? It is SO STRANGE to think about! I am SO HAPPY that she made it through and came back! She's AMAZING, nothing short of that.

I've literally listened to this album on repeat since it came out. It is one of my favorite album so far this year.
The song makes you heal and comforts you 💙 she sings it so gentle.
