"Buy Nothing Project" groups offering more than just gifts

- The New Year is a fresh start and many of us are starting it by trying to declutter our homes. Instead of tossing items or donating them, a growing number of people are first offering them to their neighbors for free as part of the "Buy Nothing Project." Janet Shamlian reports.

I think they actually started the movement!
It's amazing!
Wonderful! It feels so good to be able to give away those things you don't need to others. It's about helping people! It's also about repurposing and sharing things we don't need.
Also, means less stress and dependent on the environment for production for raw materials and resources to create new products for the business2consumer industry.
And that can only be a good thing, for all parties concerned, surely right?? Particularly for the natural environment that humans have excessively have been abusing and exploiting for it's raw materials.

Good, I donate all kids’ clothes. I saw in Netherlands, mom’s leave newborns’s clothes at their pediatricians’s in a nice way, hung them neatly on hangers. We don’t have that system in the USA 🇺🇸 Let’s start it, someone can benefits from that. My kids are big now, wish we had that.
Politicians won’t help us and they never will. Corporate greed is disgusting and it’s only time we rely on our neighbors to help us get through this time .

Only issue I ever had was one of the admin people on the page was nasty and said people were not following the rules and they obviously never read the rules. The next admin person replied in a much nicer way. I think only nice people should be allowed to be on the admin team

Ah trade something with someone who also has too much. If you can afford a cell phone, internet, and wifi to join this group. You dont need to trade. Humanity is useless
