I remember the Anchor Butter advert which is reminiscent to that of a video I watched at Harborough School in North London at the time. It was called Disney's Singalong songs where you sing a song to well known animations such as the Jungle Book.
Johnny Morris at the start of the Anchor Butter ad (which I haven't heard on other ads for them using the same music). That version of the TVS ident was only introduced in 1989, but it's very similar to the 1987-89 version (the previous one still says "Television South"). Note "movies are free" - TVS was the most anti-satellite of the ITV companies and made an unsuccessful legal objection to showing Sky and BSB's launch ads. The way the announcer says "in London" is really posh to hear now.
