Yeah its a great amp. Ive only owned one other amp before this, a little modelling amp so this one took a little getting used too but very pleased with it.
Ive now got a slightly different setup. I still have my amp but I connect everything to the computer through an audio interface and Pod Go as it’s so much easier 👍
@@plangan hi. I use this amp and I use pedals and I directly record with my PC (no extra hardware). the AMP comes with a USB cable that connects to a USB port at ur PC. I never used the amps effect loop and I simply put my pedals between the amp and my guitar. So it's GUITAR > PEDAL > PEDAL > AMP > PC
Aside from using USB, I am thinking this is this same reason I am not getting any audio when I connect xlr to my interface. I probably have to disconnect the speaker in the back of the amp. Thanks man! I hope that works for me.
Cool intro, i love that blackstar!

Great video buddy . I had a similar problem about a week ago trying to connect my headrush gig board . Still not 100% yet 😩
They're great amps Blackstar but i was a bit surprised that the instructions were a little vague. Unless i totally missed something :-)
how do you monitor when you overdub? do you monitor through your onboard laptop speakers?

Does it work if you use my pedalboard?
Ive no idea...Im just a beginner :-)
as long as you dont run the pedals in the effect loop and just direclty guitar > pedals > amp > logic, that should work
@@the_Googie New to this. You seem to know what's up. Why is this? How come you can't use the effects loop?

Never run a tube amp without speaker load
These amps have built in protection
