The Breach (Vast Decade ReWork) - 10yr Anniversary Release

This year marks the 10th anniversary of my debut release, The Breach. That means a decade of writing, recording and releasing my music, and a decade of incredible support from all of you. To celebrate, I headed back into the studio to re-imagine and re-record this track from the ground up. Somehow although the sounds are all different, I feel like this version song still captures all the emotions and the story of my time in Sweden, albeit through a wiser, more experienced lens.

I listened to this a decade ago in the early morning hours shepherding animals around in the high country of Victoria as a young man. I’ve had a life time of experiences since then and now live on the other side of the world,speaking a different language, owning a bakery and goat farm.
This instantly takes me back to walking sheep through fields, with my school pants wet from the long grass before waiting in the dark for the school bus to arrive.
