When I was a child I grew up on a farm We had a Massey Ferguson tractor and a Ford tractor. Both were small. Later we got an Oliver row crop (with front end loader) that was nice. It was a 100 acre farm so it was small but a lot of work. The Massey Ferguson was a great tractor and I spent a lot of time on it plowing, harrowing, etc. on it.

These older tractor reproductions are not computerized and complicated enough to be sold in the North American market, we need tractors that run on complicated software that can only be diagnosed by a John Deer or Massey Ferguson company service technician so we can pay hundreds of dollars only to find out that we only needed a software update which will cost us hundreds more in order to grow food.

I have a MF231, these machines are unbreakable. As long as they keep selling parts for them they will keep running for ever.

Still using the strong running Massey 165 my granddad bought new in 1967. I painted it and freshened it up but it’s pretty much original. I just helped a neighbor get a 150 going for his second tractor on a remote piece of land, I’m very passionate about old MF tractors. I wonder if these tractors are built in metric, how close is the engine to the Perkins quality, and if they are overbuilt as well as the originals.

These MF tractors built in Pakistan are very similar to the tractors built in Coventry, England! They look well-made and it's a shame that these basic well-designed tractors are only sold in places like Africa & the Middle East.

Mieszkam w Polsce gdzie były Zakłady ZM URSUS produkowano MF 275 i inne razem z traktorami URSUS C-330 i C-360 w latach 1975-1990 aż do zamknięcia i likwidacji zakładów w Warszawa Ursus. W ZM URSUS pracował mój Tata od 1960 roku do czasu emerytury. Ja mieszkam dalej w Ursusie i oglądając ten film prawie płakałem wspominając nasze polskie Massey Ferguson.

Great tractor. Nice, simple and reliable. Surprised not one single tractor made with a roll bar or a cab.
