    I’ve done a closet declutter for Fall, and explained what went wrong with each piece and how I will avoid making the same mistakes in future. I hope you find it useful - leave me a comment if you did!
    For reference, I am 5’2”. I am usually a size UK 8-10/EU 36-38/US 4-6/small.

    Just for anyone's knowledge from now on, if you look at any pair of Levi's Jeans, under care instructions, you should only wash denim every 9 or 10 wears. In-between steam them to kill bacteria, and you cannot believe how fantastic they look from then on. We have been doing this wrong forever, also the amount of water and energy we use to wash and dry denim is unsustainable, so this is good on all fronts.

      It would be worth tailoring if you would like a different length.

    With knowledge in retail manufacturing I can tell you why the same item made by the same manufacturer only in a different color fits different...most likely they are manufactured in different factories. The specs can be off by just a bit factory making a size difference. Hope that helps. Great video!!

    I understand having a strict color palette but I hope you consider allowing that soft teal back into your wardrobe in other garments. It really is lovely with your eyes.

      Thanks very much for your comment :) I love that teal shade alright. Sezane do their Chloe shirt in a sage colour which I would love to add to my wardrobe x

    Trish...this was great. We all need these reminders on a regular basis and it's great to hear you explain so honestly why some items didn't work for you. Heartbroken for you over the black wool coat. It is lovely and I hope someone else can give it a wonderful stylish life!

      I hope so, Vera! My mum really doesn’t want me to declutter it and she’s persuaded me to give it another try 😄 Thanks for watching 🌸

    I am 5ft, 1.5 inches, a size 8 on top and 10 on the bottom. For Massimo Dutti tops and jumpers, I get a size 10 as Massimo Dutti tend to run small.

    I think you look great in the blue jeans, they’re really flattering on you. And if you don’t want to get rid if the lovely black coat, perhaps try a pair of tight black trousers and long, heeled boots, big oversized scarf.

    Why not get clothes altered where the fit is not quite perfect? You have to just factor the cost in (or do it yourself) but it gets so frustrating on fit if you want everything to be perfect off the peg

      @TrishONeillStyle  Год назад +1

      Definitely agree; however some alterations are either too costly or just not possible to do. I speak about that when I’m talking about the H&M dresses-it just wasn’t worth getting them hemmed. Thanks for commenting! 🌸

      @@TrishONeillStyle definitely. I’m quite handy at sewing but lack the time. I try to buy quality labels discounted and then I alter them. Just found your Chanel and looking forward to your next posts
