    Bob and Brad Mini Massager is quite impressive. It’s quiet, lightweight, and strong for 5 settings. I use the lowest setting to remove my muscle aches and knots. My skin became itchy upon use in the beginning, and customer service says it’s normal to itch at first due to the speed intensity, but it goes away after a while. The itch has lessen but the removal of muscle aches and pain relief outweighs more.It’s easy to use. Press and hold the button to turn on and off. Battery life appears to be long as I haven’t charged it since I received it 3 weeks ago.It comes with a simple bag with all the attachments, instructions, and USB cable cord.I am happy with the product. Thank you Bob and Brad.

    I did a ton of research on massage guns and finally landed on the Bob and Brad model. I'm very happy with it and it is just as good if not better than my brother's theragun and my friend's hypervolt which cost 3x what I paid.

    Did some research on these before buying the Bob and Brad. Heard this was a really good product for the money and I would definitely have to agree! Easy to use, 5 adjustable levels, interchangeable heads, very quiet, comes in a nice case. Be aware you do have 7 days to sign up for the 1 year warranty but its an email that takes literally 2 minutes. I have no complaints about this product and would highly recommend purchasing.

    The Bob and Brad massage gun is wonderful to use on sore muscles after a workout. It’s nice not have a handheld massager that doesn’t require another person for use. It’s not bulky and comes with a great traveling case. Then interchangeable heads are easy to switch out. The battery life is long so I have no issue with that. I love Bob and Brad’s information and this product has been all that it claimed to be and more. My husband and I highly recommend it.

    After researching many massage guns and reading online reviews, I decided to purchase the Bob and Brad. So glad I did. It is a quality piece of equipment. With 5 different heads, there is one for every use. The heads slip on easily, the gun is quiet and smooth, and so far the battery life has been fantastic. Comes in a very convenient zipper case-good for travel. If you are in the market for a massage gun at a reasonable price, you won't be disappointed in this one.

    Ordered the recommended Sportneer and it just arrived -- been using it all day. 100% would recommend and his discount code still works. (Y9N6OW8R)
    I've tried a ton of these and the neer is half the price and significantly higher stalling force. As a 260 lbs former athlete, it's about power for me. Just hope it lasts, but it feels like it will and at the price, I wouldn't be heartbroken if I only get 5 years out of it. It does have a 10min shutoff incase of heat, but if you're not pushing a ton of force you can just turn it back on (as explained in the manual).

  • @lipsinker34
    @lipsinker34 3 года назад +2

    sportneer vs bob and brad? which one has the better stall force? i am not interested in the size/ weight. i like that the sportneer is quiet and has the metal to use with muscle rubs and wipe clean. but i like the cushion head of bob and brad is forgiving for newbies/ accidental going over bony prominences. is the stall force between the two similar/ negligible difference? also is the noise level also similar? what about durability of heads long term - does the plastic heads appear to damage with wear and tear over time? i intend to use it on others as well as myself but i can always get assistance for hard to reach areas eg my back so that is not an issue. it's down to $17 difference between the two after coupon use ( b&b $17 cheaper), which would be the better choice?

    • @BeforeYouBuyReview
      @BeforeYouBuyReview  3 года назад +2

      It’s a tough call for sure. If size is no issue maybe the Sportneer as it fits some of your other requests. Just be careful around the bones at first and you’ll get used to it pretty quick. The Bob and Brad does have a stronger stuff for us on lower speeds and about the same stuff force and higher speeds

    Our massage therapist introduced us to Hypervolt massage gun. She paid over $300 for hers. I did some research. I do already follow Bob &Brad so it's a no brainer that I considered their product. This massage gun is awesome. Small, light, compact. My massage therapist likes it better than hers. A+. My husband told our therapist, "Hey, I might not need you anymore!" Highly recommend (and regular massage therapy!)

    I bought a used homedics massage chair flap for close to 10 bucks and enjoyed every second of it (that one was quite aggressive compared to this one, this gun is much more efficient however), and seeing that that it broke down on me after my first few uses, I was hoping to get a massage gun. They were quite expensive at the time that happened and bob and brad delivered a fantastic product that looks 10 times better than most I've seen. No way I'd carry around a massage chair so a massage gun is always on the list as far as fitness goes so this is the perfect product for anyone really.I had great lower back pain throughout the year of 2020 and this gun just blasted it away swiftly. A lack of movement is harmful to anyone yet this specific gun is a great tool overall. I love the case it came with for sure.

    The wife wanted a massage gun so I started researching. Obviously there are lots out there with the most mainstream products coming from well known brands at premium prices. Lots of watching videos and reviews later led to me landing on the Bob & Brad massage gun. It’s worth noting one video on RUclips stacks this product against 29 other guns and it holds its weight. First of all, it’s very quiet in comparison to the Theragun which could be considered top tier. I also feel like the size makes it easier to control and hold. One button design makes it easy to use. Even on the lowest setting it has really good power and excellent stall force. The tips are also quality. I can’t think of a single complaint so far. For the price, this gun is the one you should be getting + Bob & Brad are experts in the space.

      Maybe the Sportneer due to the heads it comes with and metal build. It’s a little weaker on the lower speeds, but also is insanely quiet at the speeds which is nice for lighter massage. It also provides a good amount of power on higher levels

      Thanks so much for the support! ☕️ this is a hard decision. The Bob and Brad would be lighter and may be easier to use long-term if you keep holding it over your head. The Sportneer has lower speeds and less stuff for us on lower speeds as well if that would be beneficial to your neck massage.

Just want to be sure I interpret that correctly! I see it goes down to 1300 RPM versus 2k on the Bob & Brad so that would make for a lighter less forceful massage when needed correct? Thanks for the info. I have come to find out that many of these guns have batteries that CANNOT be replaced by the user. In other words, once the battery wears out, it is a pistol shaped paper weight. I think the Recoverfun is one that does allow user replacement of battery. To my mind, any device that does not have a user replaceable battery is going to be built with the minimal durability and quality needed to last just until the battery expires. Personally, I would prefer a plug in version with no batteries or battery as a back up to plug in. I have seen chiropractors with some but never seen one for the public. They are all battery-only. Anyone find otherwise?

    • @BeforeYouBuyReview
      @BeforeYouBuyReview  3 года назад

      There are multiple that have replacement batteries, but that said, I think it will take 5+ years before it won’t hold a charge for a single massage session in my opinion. I’ve had one now for 2+ years and have not noticed any difference at all. Also the first one I got had a cord and I absolutely hated it. You always had to be a few feet from the wall. As always, it depends on how you use it and what you want out of it. That’s why I try to provide information on all products and let you decide. 👍 Hope that helped

      You may want to go with the Sportneer. It is quieter on lower speeds and since you don’t care about portability it’s a great buy. Your cushion is nice if you don’t know where the bones are or are experimenting early on. Once you get the hang of where you need to massage, it’s not really needed. Hi there, buddy. Thanks for all of your reviews. I've watched many of them, and now I'm really confused. For my purposes, I don't need a daily carry; I want to use the massage gun only at home -- and I live alone, so the volume won't be bothering anyone else. I'm an amateur athlete, but I mostly need the massage gun to work out some serious, longstanding trigger points, including some hard-to-reach ones on my upper back. I've used foam rollers and lacrosse balls and all of that stuff, and I'm looking for a shortcut. In summary, can you recommend the best massage gun for someone who needs a substantial amount of force, who doesn't mind spending a fair amount of change, and who doesn't need a unit that is portable or small or particularly quiet? One last thing: stall force is great, but it would be more convenient to have the unit do the work instead of my needing to mash the thing into me with heavy pressure.

      Sounds like the Theragun could be a good fit. Every massage gun you’re going to have to apply more pressure to dig in deep though. It may be hard to reach back spots. Try using a couch to help apply pressure for instance.

    Have you tried the Jawku that looks just like the NoCry. They claim it is 14mm instead of the 12 and that the others that look like that are just copies.

    I did quite a bit of research on which massage gun to get because there are so many different ones, and a lot of them are pretty much the same guns just renamed and re packaged. I came a tossed the Bob and Brad massage gun and read good things about it. It may not have some flashy name but it is definitely premium feeling and I like how portable and compact it is. It’s also not 500$ I’m happy with the purchase

      It’s crazy this massage gun is close to $100! How is that possible?!

    Which model do you think is today the best? I understand that the stall force (the force that you need to stop the movement) and the amplitude of movement are the 2 most important factors... For example the theragun has 16mm of excursion amplitude and a very hight stall force...

    • @BeforeYouBuyReview
      @BeforeYouBuyReview  3 года назад +1

      I'll answer this one too ;-) Nice! You've done your homework! Good job! Here's what I will say. The one I personally carry is the Bob & Brad. I personally carry it with me to the gym for warmup etc, so I prefer the smaller size. I used the Theragun Elite last night actually. It definitely hits hard, and sometimes too hard it seems when you just want a lighter massage. Everyone is different though. After you narrow it down to the good massage guns, it kind of comes down to personal preference.

      @@BeforeYouBuyReview thank you for your reply! I have another question. Out of all the massage guns you have would you say that the massage gun heads are mostly interchangeable on each gun from brand to brand? Like would I be able to buy just the heated head off Amazon and put it on a different brand gun? After doing some research I've found the stall force is reviewed to be low on this gun with an amplitude of only 12mm. I would like the heated head but on a better massage gun with higher stall force and 16mm amplitude. Is this possible in your opinion?

    • @BeforeYouBuyReview
      @BeforeYouBuyReview  3 года назад

      @@shaunamcquinn619 Generally yes, but not always. In fact, I'm not positive of a 16mm massage gun that has a standard head. Generally they look a little different. Have you used a massage gun with 12mm vs 16mm amplitude?

      @@BeforeYouBuyReview Ok can you recommend instead something quiet with a deep amplitude and a solid stall force around that same 80 bucks?

    • @BeforeYouBuyReview
      @BeforeYouBuyReview  3 года назад

      I wish! That thing would fly off the shelves. That’s asking for the best in every category essentially. The one I carry is the B&B like I mentioned in the video, but you have to find one that fits your wants and needs.

  • @akaFlippa

    Hey! Great video! Hoping I can review some feedback before I make a purchase. I’m really liking your view on the B&B but I think I’m needing more amplitude (I want it to hurt)!! Price is not an issue. Is the amplitude from the B&B (8mm) VS the sportneer (12mm) that much of a difference? I want the strongest most powerful gun for my back knots

    • @BeforeYouBuyReview
      @BeforeYouBuyReview  3 года назад +1

      Thanks! the power is broken into speed, amplitude and stall force. I personally feel the stall force on the B&B is plenty sufficient. You may want to check out the Ekrin B37S due to stall force and more amplitude. ruclips.net/video/BH843PM-g10/видео.html
      Maybe the Theragun too but I rarely recommend because it’s so loud and expensive. If you don’t care about those it may be an option as well
