When I was at my most desperate moment, the moment my husband died, at a time when you would think I would be angry with God....I found God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Mother, and my Guardian Angel so close to me. I cried so hard in their arms, they let me know many times, they were right there beside me. This was my greatest time of suffering, and they were there for me. No science could explain it, but it was real.
Same here. Can feel their presence and company since mom's passing in July. Our Guardian Angels are our most loyal and faithful friends. We should communicate with them as much as possible every day!

My condolences, Bella, for the loss of your dear husband. My mom was a widow after 50 years of marriage to my wonderful father. She was miserable, frankly. I'm so glad you found comfort in the arms of God, etc. I'll pray for you and widows like you; I live with one. God bless and keep you strong and courageous as you complete your journey on Earth.

Bela Cruz I realize that it's been 6 months since you told us about your loss, but upon reading your comment it looks to me that you have a whole army w/you and 4U; U have God, Jesus, Mary, the HSpirit & your G.Angel what more could anyone possibly want or need? So, my point is that you are definitely NOT alone! One day Our Loving & Merciful Father will call you home too and you won't be alone then either, your family of friends and protectors will grow & be even bigger than it is now including your beautiful husband. Looks to me like you're being looked after quite well!

When my husband died there was SADNESS, but a sense of relief, he had gone thru so much & I knew he was with GOD 😢, it has been 15 yrs. I know he is praying for me.

Thank you Gather Alar, I may too late to help im safe his soul of my 41 yr old Son, he's been accused of wrongdoings which hecis guilty of, I realize why he's having problems its myself who failed him as a Mother, I've failed to try to save his & my soul. Thank you for warning us about the sins and that Jesus loves us he will always gave mercy on us as long as we repent. These family members that accuse of the mentioned sins is goingcon in their homes but they think they have the right to judge others. They don't look at their brokenness, their hatred, sins &, pride etc are pushed on others that are not luke them. Thank God, I call it hipocrites in Christianity. They think their souls are safe after condemning instead of praying the divine mercy chaplet and advice him to try to heal him. This is all I do for him hoping he receives God's grace. Offered masses for him but I believe he may be saved and not us. Ill never give up on him no matter what my family thinks if him and myself. I know that they are not right to condemn as there is no evidence to condemn. When did they help, offer up, pray, approach him not even his Christian Catholic Godparents. We ate all poor sinners and don't sacrifice for sin. I am sorry butvive vern broken and indebted to with Jesus and my holy mother. Please have mercy on my family & their children especially my Son whos paid off inorisin but Noone forgives & forgets because he has record. He doesn't have a chance to be part of this "perfect" family. Im sure they all have sinners but only picknon must life. Dobtcvecsurprised if you don't make it to heaven, thats what it is. Repent!!!!

Glad that hell is being talked about. Heaven, Hell, and purgatory we need to understand.
No such place as Purgatory. This place was made up by the church to fill the churches coffers. Not in the bible either

St Michael prayer After Every Mass
In Canada, the Archdiocese of Toronto, we say the St. Michael prayer after every mass.
Thank you, Fr. Chris. About a month ago I sent this talk to my “wandering away from the faith” teen. I asked him to watch this before deciding which way he wanted to live his life. Last Wednesday he texted me. He said he wanted to go to church on Saturday night as he had plan on Sunday morning. Even though I have been praying for him constantly, having masses said for him, and I always feel peace in mind as I know God will not let him off of His Mercy but I did not expect such a text message as he refused to go to church 3 years ago. Praise the Lord. Your work did bear fruit, Fr. Chris. Thank you, and may the Holy Spirit continue to guide you in your mission.

Praying for the dead is useless. If anyone tells you differently, they are lying to you. One you take your last breath, you are either with the Lord or are in Hell. You make your decision whether or not to accept Christ as your personal Saviour while you are still alive down here. There are no "second chances". If you don't read your Bible, you'll never know.
Yes, Dale, we agree....read the Bible. 2 Maccabees details the critical importance of praying for the dead. And please don't say that book is apocryphal because it was in the canon since the beginning of the Church until Martin Luther removed it. God bless.

The loss of each soul plunges Me into mortal sadness. You always console Me when you pray for sinners. The prayer most pleasing to Me is prayer for the conversion of sinners. Know, My daughter, that this prayer is always heard and answered” St.Faustina.(Diary 1397).

Trust Christ, He is faithful to His word and will never leave you nor forsake you, in life nor in death.

However, I think Denise may have been referring to retrospective prayer (eg. praying for someone who died 30 years ago) in the hope God (being outside of time) took her prayers back to their particular judgement and applied them to the moment of death.
What I noticed that- the more I suffered the more I felt the love of the mother of God. and the more I experienced the super power of her Son..🙏🙏🙏

Years ago, my father asked a priest if he had many death bed Conversions. The Priest (sadly) did not have that experience. There was even mention that the precious Holy Crucifix offered was even spat on. God have Mercy. The Church does teach we do not "presume" on being saved and the other extreme, not to "despair." Fr. Chris, I always appreciate your teachings. God has gifted and blessed you as a teacher.

Great to finally hear a Priest mention Hell! So rare nowadays.
You know I am revisiting this series and paused to reflect on my Faith and the influence of my 5'2" high Mom on my eternal trajectory. Raised Catholic but left in 1984 at age 18. Returned with a rush and a roar Jan 2022 (and a lot of tears in the Confessional Feb 2022) and have made TOO many mistakes to count. I have been on this path for two years and it has been a WONDERFUL walk. So grateful for my parents' decision to baptize me and get me the Sacraments of Communion, Confession and Confirmation. Parents: get your children enrolled into these sacraments! They matter! It is a decision of eternal consequence. Anyway...keep The Faith folks.

Jesus Christ is always showed me in my dream that I should be ready, Jesus Christ telling me go to confession before i died. Repent and don't do it again those sins that you committed. By the way Father, you're my inspiration why I keep on praying the 3' o'clock prayers(Divine Mercy) and praying for the sinners and i keep praying to keep away the temptation of sins. I keep asking also the intercession of Mother Mary and all the Saints in Heaven and my prayers for everybody and praying the saving souls in purgatory. Father Alar’s comment about prophecy is spot on. Too many Catholics hear prophecies and automatically believe we are doomed. But, a prophecy is a warning of what could be not what has to be. When Our Lord or Our Lady sends us a prophecy, it is meant for us to change not to despair.
