Do you know the worst thing about this ? No matter of Suleiman's great victories or him being called Magneficent. People will always remember him more for the father who killed own son.
In time they will also remember that Ibrahim Pasha was responsible for those great victories (Belgrade, Mohacs, Buda, Baghdad, Tebriz). After him there was very little.
This is so untrue, everyone remember Suleiman as Magnificent. Many Sultans before and after him killed their own children to ensure the one they want ascends to the throne. How can you remember Suleiman for something 90% of other Sultans did? Also after Ibrahim's death he defeated Moldavia, managed to annex Hungary into Ottoman Empire, also captured Tabriz, Armenia and Baghdad with lower Mesopotamian provinces.
Mustafa was such a prince! Clever, well-educated, brave, good-hearted, loyal to his father till the end! Sulaiman took such a decision as a sultan and not as a father. I feel so sorry for both of them. After killing Ibrahim and Mustafa, Sulaiman was never the same. Even himself could not deal with those two losts
Why didnt they like the europeans hold a counsel meeting, discuss the next crown prince... instead of letting princes fight for the throne. furthermore, doesnt Suleiman know that if mustafa willled, he would have rebelled long ago?
@@rocketlab1877 in Turkish culture, all princes had a claim to the throne. It wasn’t like Western Europe where only the eldest inherited the throne. In Turkish culture, the best and most qualified prince (at least in theory) should inherit the throne. And ironically, although they kill all male members of their dynasty, the Ottoman dynasty was the longest lasting dynasty in history.

Sulaiman perceived an able prince his adversary and a threat to his rule. Mustafa by all accounts was too straight forward and honest in his dealings which became his undoing. Everyone had both flaws and sympathetic points. But Suleiman...he inflicted so much unnecessary suffering on everyone and made so many decisions that he plainly justified with "I'm the sultan".

Actually, how can I write after watching this scene I didn't know. I am commenting after a few days. I cried a lot. You guys couldn't imagine how much I love this guy and the character. If this is only drama, maybe I did not have that much level of emotion. But after reading the true history I couldn't hold my tears. Mustafa is not just a character, it's an emotion. Suleiman is the greatest person no doubt but this decision was one of the worst decisions he had ever made. The second one was the death of Ibrahim Pasha Mustafa was the real fighter, he had enough qualities to rule this world as his father did before. His favorite person was his father. He never tried to betray his father. Sultan was blind to his love Hurrem Sultan. If mustafa wants to attack his father he could, cause he had enough power to defeat his father kingdom. He had full support like Jenissary, Hijir rayes, and so on. Despite of being a powerful Prince, he could not attack to his father cause he loved him. “Hurrem’s contemproraries describe her as very intelligent and having a pleasant personality. Her love of poetry is considered one of the reasons behind her being heavily favoured by Suleiman, who was a great admirer of poetry.
Hurrem is known to have been very generous to the poor. She built numerous mosques, madrasahs, hammams, and resting places for pilgrims travelling to the Islamic holy city of Makkah. Her greatest philanthropical work was the Great Waqf of AlQuds, a large soup kitchen in Jerusalem that fed the poor.”
“An intelligent, kind, understanding, openhearted, candid, talented, generous, emotional and grateful woman who cares about the soul rather than the body; who is not carried away with ordinary glimmers such as money, prone to science and art; in short, a perfect woman."

Absolutely
This is so untrue, everyone remember Suleiman as Magnificent. Many Sultans before and after him killed their own children to ensure the one they want ascends to the throne. How can you remember Suleiman for something 90% of other Sultans did?
Also after Ibrahim's death he defeated Moldavia, managed to annex Hungary into Ottoman Empire, also captured Tabriz, Armenia and Baghdad with lower Mesopotamian provinces.

Suleman has lived shamelessly and will be cursed till eternities.
he repented to his lord right after and maybe god will forgive him if he was sincere but i don't know if mustafa will in the here-after.
Mehmat's and Mustafa's deaths were really tragical... They were only capable of the throne..
Mustafa was innocent according to the series , he had a pure heart but allies of Shehzade mustafa wanted to overthrow Suleiman . They would have been successful if Suleiman/Rustem wasn't cautious , i guess being a ruler is tough.....
Rustem was cautious what are you talking about he wrote letter to Mustafa and tell to him to come to take the throne of his father because Suleiman is gonna give him the throne he made a trap for Mustafa you don't know about this history anything brother
@@herolindmusliji9591 it’s according to the series, he cleverly planned everything.
@@tashfiqrahman4153 I am telling true history brother we all know who deserved that throne and what Ottoman army would be with him
@@herolindmusliji9591 ottomans seiged Vienna in 1683. Required a coalition to stop them. They were fine long after Mustafa.
@@herolindmusliji9591 The one who deserved throne and people supported was Mehmed, go read history ahahhaa
After killing his own son how he could cry 😢😢
This is why in India kings used to go to the hermitage of sages after a certain age and leave the throne to the crown prince !! They did not cling to the throne!! What heartlessness to kill one’s own son and then the grandson too !! I’m not judging them by today’s standard of morality coz then almost all rulers will fall from grace!! They were brought up thinking themselves to be god’s representatives on earth !! But how nice and well thought was the wisdom of ancient India!!!
They rules thrree continen so much power ofcourse goes into human hedad
I wish you translated the song.
Una herida que jamás sanará 💔
No one can know the truth behind the execution of mustafa but mustafa and thousand innocent princes's execution became the reason of end of a magnificent empire of muslim
500 years later and NO ONE has rewritten Mustafa's story as he wished for in the letter. The story of betrayal still stands as historically accurate. Lies are exposed with passing of time, but the truth never changes.
Because in real history he was rebbel and liiar
@@jeanneaubert4193 soo you were there??
@@sadzidazaa2647 don't shoot the messenger because you don't like the message. Facts matter.
@@jeanneaubert4193 how he can be rebel you are so funny he already know that his father has possibility to kill him and still he came.
@@sadzidazaa2647 there is such a thing called History😂 Go read it, Mustafa was traiitor in real history you🤡🤡
I supported hurrem in every single time but I couldn’t take the death of Mustafa. It was always contradictory to love both of them bcz if u want to watch the victory of one of them, you have to lose one. There should be nothing in between. Btw I stopped watching this series after the death of Mustafa.
Big mistake.Even his infant son was killed. Mustafa was prepared to lead. From this point on the Empire declined.
The biggest mistake ever happened at automan sultanate
Yes after suleiman there were good sultans like ahmed murad abdul hamid
But if mustafa accend the throne hstry would be different
The most perfect shahzada of the sultanate
How does one kill ur beloved child ! I cannot forgive him
He doesn’t need you to forgiive you 🤡🤡 Back that time people killed for empire! And Mustafa was not innocent. Hahahaha!
Who are you to forgive? He doesn’t need that! He killed liiar and rebbel as he should! Read history!
I would love to know if he were really a traitor or an innocent, but I didn't find any book related to this in the languages I can understand! Could any Turkish friend explain me? Thanks you.
Dear friends a historian, whose name I have forgotten, mentioned during the regin of selim 2nd that suleiman refused to leave his body for entire day. After he heard mutinious voices of both kapikulu and eyalet troops he allowed to handover mustafa's body to them.
That can't be true, Suleiman called him 'trsitorus dog how dare you call me father and stand before me" and it's said he was watching the whole process. He never cried for Mustafa, sorry if you like Mustafa.
@@DimSK. please don't apologize. As I mentioned you earlier I don't care about mustafa or suleiman or hurrem. When I talk about politics and history, I don't care about anyone's feelings.
@@AdityaSingh-iz5zs ok friend.
@@DimSK. there are conflicting sources about suleiman's presence. Some says he was reading Quran. Some says he was just seeting behind curtain. Some says he was not present there. There are conflicting sources even about aftermath. But one thing all mentioned is that he cried so loud that baltacis standing outside could hear his voices.
@@DimSK. let me apologize because I called you insane earlier. You are good person to talk with.
Mustafa are best Prince and ottoman empire if not killing his father he is be a coming best sultan
Sadly sulaiman did not learn anything from this incident..after some years, he killed beyazat too. He should not be called magnificent when all he has done was to listen to hurem and her alliance.
In Bayezid's case he actually had to be executed because, unlike Mustafa, Bayezid actually did commit treason. By running off to the Persians and trying to help them get rid of Selim. Asking a foreign enemy to help you attack your own country is the definition of treason.
Kingship is a curse. Almost kings will go to jahannam except who ALLAH subhan wa taala forgive s. Mustafa was lucky ALLAH the greatest the creator stopped him from committing sins and atrocities.
what if Mustafa was the Sultan... different history
Bad people like bad people and good people like innocent people
I wonder how Sulaiman can be so heartless and witnessing himself how Mustaoha was executed.
Can't Sulaiman whom we call " the Magnificent" verify the accusation against Mustapha.
Was Sulaiman so blind to the fact that Hurrem wanted one of her son to ascend the throne.
How could Sulaiman ignore the feeling of Mahidevran.
From what I can see, Sulaiman lived to regret his decision. He never recovered from the execution.
The guilt of a father who executed his own son over a slander..
Sulaiman I velived received divine punishment with Cihangir's death.
He too lived to witness deadly rivalry between Selim and Beyazid.
He was mocked by his own citizens.
What a tragedy.
And this scene did not make sense. He sat quietly watching his son was executed before his own eyes.
And he cried out loud once his son breathed his last breath.
What was Suliamn thinking?
Hi SHOSHO bot, your Copy-paste blabllablaa again!
And who was mockked? Suleiman was loved and resppected by everyone called Magnificent.
You 🤡🤡🤡 hahahaha
You are embarrassingly🤡🤡 SHOSHO cllown.
Suleiman was loved and resspected in all Empire and world called MAGNIFICENT and KANUNI- Lawmaker. He was known for his power, intelligence and justice.
So shuttt and go get some intelligence yourself. You are embarrassing with your repeating texts that don’t make sense.
I don't accept Suliman a magnificent. He comitted 2 murders who trusted Suliman very much. By hearing women's word he gone far away from justice.
@@mbknayak lmaooo Suleiman was Magnificent and Kanuni-Lawmaker. He checked everything 100 times and didn’t listen to women. In history he even killed Hurrem’s and his son Bayazid- when he heard he rebellled.
Mustafa was never pure or innocent in history. He got what he deserved and so did Bayazid.
Omg what's with same peooles answering every comments.. Vivien, Ashley and Lana... 😂😂😂 I'm laughing.. u guys have.. a job right? Also this proves they are the bots instead of a lot of variety of people's commenting about Suleiman's grieved for Mustafa... I think I would trust he other variety of peoples more.. oof
For all peoples watching the show letter was actually left behind by the PARGALI IBRAHIM PASHA in his diary which was lying beside his bed. Letter of mustafa was presented by by the venetian to the suleiman in which they confessed that Mustafa wanted to be sultan after his natural death.
There is no such proof that Venetians said that, the letter says he asks for their help to ascend the throne immediately.
@@DimSK. the person carrying the letter departure at the exact date of the execution. After venetians got the information of mustafa's execution they immediately reported it to the pope. Letter was provided to officials and it was given to the suleiman himself later. This information was recorded during selim 2.
How many diaries Pargali had 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@sarahdemir776 can't say about show but pargali had one dairy which was given to suleiman after it was examined by officials. Pargali knew everything but to remain true to suleiman he stayed at topkapi palace that night.
@@AdityaSingh-iz5zs we never know that.
Sultan MUSTAFA 👑 🤴 THRONE WITH THE 😇
Kingship is a curse. Almost kings will go to jahannam. Mustafa was lucky ALLAH the greatest the creator stopped him from committing sins and atrocities.
By killing mustafa, suleiman gave victory to the non-muslims by his own hands. Since, he would have been a great king. Then, all thanks to suleiman ottoman empire not only rised but soon crumbled.
'Soon' hah! The Empire ultimately did decline somewhat, but the Empire officially did not end until 1924. And that was because they bit off more than they could chew by fighting for the wrong side in WW1.
Thats a good 400 years after Mustafa died.
I read somewhere that the enemies of the ottoman empire were very happy after they got to know about mustafa's death
Suleiman is very unfortunate father
For this reason I hate hurrem. This unfortunate thing happened in all countries history.
How can a father killed his sons😢
Killed lion like Mustafa only to leave the sultanate to a drunken weak man Selim . Only because of politics and a woman's manipulations.. Mustafa was wrong when he said his name wont be written in golden words . He is still mourned centuries later , ppl still talk of his bravery and character n pray for him . His name is never forgotten which is a proof that he was on Haq and he was wronged.
Interesting narrative that I think needs to have its biases unpacked.
Because of that evil hurem and wicked rustem 😥from the beginning hurem doesn't like Mustafa to be a successor to the sultan
