Dude, this ReOrchestration is literally my favorite variation of One winged Angel (Excluding the original Ps1 version). Good job and continue your amazing work.
This dude pulled off the sickest trickshot in human history. Summoned an asteroid from outside the galaxy and managed to get Pluto, (almost) Saturn, and Jupiter all in a line to hit them all and then right into the sun, causing it to go supernova, destroying Mercury and Venus and searing the surface of Earth, all in 2 minutes.
So summons are magic and only affect those it is casted on as noted in the game, hence Sephiroth casting Meteor on Earth and not the party. "Summon Magic strong enough to destroy the planet," (Temple of the Ancients). Sephiroth wanted to show his power, but the attack only affects the fighting party not all those planets.
I'll never forget as a kid, the first time I came across this boss, my party was severely under levelled and I had a bad materia setup, I was fighting Bizarro Sephiroth for absolutely ages, like a good 45 minutes. I finally defeated him and threw my controller down in celebration, but then....this music started and this guy appears. Naturally, I got my ass kicked and I don't think I've ever been so devastated 😂. Just how I managed to even get to the end of the game with my party was a miracle! Nice job with this song btw!

Fun fact, the intro to the original version was based on the intro to 'Purple Haze' by Jimi Hendrix and multiple bars from 'The Rite of Spring' by Igor Stravinsky. Actually if you listen to The Rite of Spring you'll hear a lot of what influenced Nobuo Uematsu.
I know that I was not around when this game was made, but I went out of my way to play Final Fantasy VII’s original game before playing the Remake. Needless to say it was an amazing choice and this battle was a culmination of the hundreds I fought before. It took everything to beat Sephiroth
Curious how they will handle the final fight sequence in the remake. I kind of hope we can't cheese it like in the original with KotR. Maybe give Sephiroth the ability to wipe out summons akin to Griever being able to do so in FF8. As for this, particular portion, I can imagine it being something akin to the fight between Cloud and Sephiroth in Advent Children. Ditto. While the crazy hard rock of newer versions of this song are still good, the original had a greater sense of reflecting Sephiroth's descent into a rageful, ego-maniacal insanity. He propped himself into Deity status and this remix captures it all perfectly.
Sephiroth’s “ultimate form” in the remake will likely be the best Final Fantasy Boss Battle ever. I bet that the One Winged Angel will be even better than the Remake version.
Finally an orchestral version of the song that retains the grandeur and power of the original! I've always felt Uematsu's orchestral version lacks the back bone of the original and you really captured it!
3:27 Never have I been more excited and more pumped by this part of the song in my life, I always loved this part of the song but you nailed it perfectly.
Finally! A rendition of One Winged Angel that isn't just the Advent Children version with added bells and whistles! This is amazing, and it really captures the essence of that final battle. Well done!
No actually though, this cover of the song is like, the best of Reunion and the original. The Advent version is hype, but the original One Winged Angel is probably the best at capturing the megalomania of Sephiroth effectively going God-crazed with power.
I often don't like remasters or re-orchestrations of Nobuo Uematsu's masterpieces because they often miss or leave out important subtleties. This song nails it! Excellent work. I'm so happy to see a song that manages to improve on the original Final Fantasy score. Well done, and thank you for this :)

The first time I heard the original during the final battle (and every time after that), I got goosebumps. This version gave me goosebumps, too! They should totally use this one in the remake! You should try your hand at "Dragon God" from Chrono Cross.
Having heard many versions of OWA for years, and not a big fan of the later versions. However, the brass accompaniment in this piece is glorious. Best version eva. ❤
Good choice of image. I adore Safer Sephiroth, calamity on seven wings... I just love his design, a cross between a "traditional" angel and a "biblically accurate" angel, and every single wing is gorgeous, I love the colors on all of them. And those halos... [chef's kiss] He really does look like glory, destruction, perfection incarnate. And of course, the song One-Winged Angel is just legendary, I've only ever heard one theme that gives off the same "worship and begging for mercy" vibe in the choir (and that's "The Legend Descends" aka the Fatalis theme from Monster Hunter World). I just adore that it's so popular that so many people have covered it, sometimes multiple times. And this is one of the ones I love! I particularly like the additional choir vocalizations in the beginning. There's some really good, frightening harmony going on there. Anyways TLDR; this cover is neat and I've yeeted it right into my Sephiroth playlist
I've listened to a lot of your stuff. The management of dynamics, phrasing, and all the vertical stuff in parts where there's three counter melodies at once is really good. There is a lot more polish to this track than a lot of your other great work. This is definitely next level stuff. well done. Right before the "repeat" - Subito Piano's on the strings is the only part where things were noticeably "programmed" the hits were uniformly stoccatto instead of transitioning in to a subito-piano style sustain.
God damn I'm loving those trumpets! complaints about their relative volume aside, they add so much to the terrifying majesty of this theme. You pretty much turned One Winged Angel into the Imperial March of video games, if it wasn't that already.
What so many renditions of OWA always seem to lack is the military-esque element. Despite his madness, his arrogance and his ascension into a higher being, he was once a soldier and that will always be a part of him. This version however nailed that aspect.
A good One-Winged Angel remix has to capture the sheer pants-wetting cosmic terror the original induces. The original is still the only final boss theme among the numbered FFs that do not have any hint of the kind of fast pace that indicates "the final desperate struggle to save the world". Even Dancing Mad tier 4 (i.e. when you ACTUALLY fight God of Magic Kefka) still has that. One-Winged Angel doesn't. The message is clear: You are against something both cosmically horrific yet divine. No anime physics or skillz will help you here, for the entity you face needs none of that to bring you to your knees in despair. And while the image of the solar system's destruction via physically-impossible supernova may not be real, it will feel every bit as real. Every second of searing pain. And this nails that feeling very well!
This version of him is gonna be awesome to fight never had the privilege of playing the og ff7 but i played the remake and oh my lord i was excited to fight sephiroth for the first time now im here listening to this version and hope they do put the Ah back in the song when fighting this version of sephiroth
I literally can’t express how impressed I am with this rendition. Besides some of the brass parts being less pronounced and a few minor mistakes with the woodwinds, I love this.
This is amazing. In my opinion, it's better than the version from advent children. The advent children one is pretty cool, but this one is absolutely terrifying. Kinda sad how the horns are traded out for more strings in the newer versions.

This version seems modern but keeps the feeling of the original! Love it, feel like encountering safer Sephiroth again!
This is the part that always makes me fall in love with this song since to date there is no other with that level of epic 3:28
Many many many ass, everybody touching ass
@@cheeloong0421ify lmao i can't unread that now
This is the best version of this song I've heard
This one may be the most true to the original.
After hearing the original, I searched for an re-orchestration, I can definitely say I found it.
Sephiroth: You're right. It's over for everyone, for everything. It's all over for you.
Oddly enough, I used Barret and cid for the last fight
Smashing
Holy crap this is the best remaster of the Original Track I have heard, good job
this is one of the battles i want to see reimagined from the original!! please make it live up!gonna be godly!😱
I am getting so much goosebump. This version is really good.
3:28 you did an amazing job here!

Great
Bells, frogs, big cherries, Peter Pan, Magic Cheese. SEPHIROTH!
For what reason did you have to this to my pure innocent mind
@@hidro464 who knows dream can be memes
This legit sounds like the universe is doomed, you've somehow made a perfect bit of music even greater
Glorioso, generoso!
I remember playing that game on my phone 1 year ago and that final boss music was dope
Absolute Masterpiece
Oddly I never noticed it till this version of one winged angel, but the start of the song really gives me a Slasher horror vibe
You make me want to play this masterpiece again...
Thank you.
I listened to not even 20 seconds of the song and had already pressed the like button. That's how good this cover is.
I’ve listen to pretty much every one wing an angel version out there on RUclips right now and this is got to be one of the best

*Sephiroth has used SUPERNOVA*
Is it just me or is Sephiroth giving Barrett Cid and Cloud the middle finger?
Oh now I see it.
F#ck you Cid, and Barrett, and that clone in the corner
This is a beautiful take on that masterpiece, one of the major pieces to have in a great catalog, very good job :)
How have I never heard this underrated gem before?!
Such a soundtrack...... can´t believe I missed this until Super Smash
SAME HERE. I was immediately STUNNED that Sephiroth is now in SMASH!
Wait you haven’t heard one winged angel until he got announced to smash? (I’m not judging don’t worry, just curious)

How have I just only found this now?
Incredible!
I want this final battle to be a godly duel with surprises and the music
One of the best orchestration of this song I have ever heard
why am i crying so damn loud
This is amazing. In my opinion, it's better than the version from advent children. The advent children one is pretty cool, but this one is absolutely terrifying. Kinda sad how the horns are traded out for more strings in the newer versions.
I knew as soon as this popped up that I had to listen to this. Was not disappointed.
3:35 I have never felt the urge to plead for my life more from just hearing a song.
This is my favorite one winged angel remix by far!
only 10 seconds in and already falling in love with the quality
